Abstract: A new kind of vehicle navigation and position terminal system based on 32-bit ARM and GPS, has been researched and designed in this paper, and the function and framework of the system are presented. This paper discusses the development of each part of BSP in detail based on the structure program, and analyzes the difficulties in the startup code. The method to write the startup code is described specially.

Abstract: In order to set up a graphics platform which uses Linux as its kernel, this paper gives an instruction of transplanting GTK+ to the development platform. In this case, an ARM developing platform, using Intel XScale PXA255 as its internal core, is chosen. To enable GTK+ running on the platform, cross-complied is necessary and the relative equipment drivers are uploaded to the platform. GTK+ is based on X Window, however, in this paper, FrameBuffer is used instead.

Abstract: For the latest development in the direction of embedded system and wireless network, this project work describes wireless image transmission based on the embedded system. The Project Work Includes Following Features of Image Transmission using WIFI from S3C2440A to PC, S3C2440A is the h/w, with QTOPIA OS, PC with LINUX(Ubuntu) and with Socket code being in C/C++ language. Here S3C2440A will be working as Server and PC with Linux Platform(UBUNTU) will be working as Client. Experimental results show the throughput, transmission time and delay evaluation for various image file types along with speed gain using image compression.

Abstract: The article introduces the hardware and software design of a wireless video surveillance system based on S3C2440 hardware platform and embedded Linux operating system. It described the system's general structure, and gives the bootloader and the linux root file system is created, the kernel cutting, video image acquisition-driven and USB wireless adapter driver, etc. This system has the characters of the low cost, the system structure to be simple, the low power, the kernel can be cutting and transplantable, and also the stable property and high integration.

Abstract: An embedded multi-physiological parameter collecting and real-time displaying system which is based on WinCE is designed and implemented in this paper. CAN bus was used to transfer physiological parameter signal. Alarm speaker which connected to the ARM9 processor S3C2440 was used to achieve the alarm function. Considering the huge data quantity and the high timeliness requirement, GUI used multi-threads technology and the custom message method to improve real-time property and the execution efficiency of the program. For the following functional development, the project was programmed on the object-oriented theory and a CCommand class was encoded to send commands to OEM physiological-parameter acquisition board. Experimental results showed that the system had a strong real-time performance and stability, could achieve desired monitoring functions.

Abstract: In this study, we have a analysis of the ARM core unit design of a remote video monitoring system. An important aspect of a remote video monitoring system is that the image information stored in the monitoring system is transmitted to a remote PC through the GSM/GPRS network. There into the application of the ARM core unit is one part of the design of the entire remote video monitoring system. An ARM core unit is designed based on ARM architecture and ARM chips. It includes hardware and software design. Practice shows high stability and reliability of the design.

Abstract: China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting (CMMB) is a self-developed wireless communication system for mobile terminals. The control board is the most important module in CMMB system. This thesis introduces a general modulator control system based on Arm-Linux platform. The platform of the system uses ARM chips as the master controller, by using the Linux embedded platform to achieve the internal among the control panel and baseband coding module, RF output module, RF processing module through the I2C bus, completes dynamic control of the modulator parameters.
