Quantized long-wavelength optical phonon modes in graphene nanoribbon in the elastic continuum model

TL;DR: In this paper, an analytical displacements and dispersion relations for optical phonons of a graphene sheet are presented, which are used to derive the optical deformation potential interactions for graphene as well as to obtain descriptions of the confined optical phonon for graphene.
Journal ArticleDOI

Understanding and harnessing biomimetic molecular machines for NEMS actuation materials

TL;DR: A modified design in which electricity, instead of chemicals, is employed to stimulate the relative movements of the components in bistable rotaxanes is proposed, shedding light on the optimization of future molecular machine-based systems particularly with respect to their implementation and manufacture.
Journal ArticleDOI

Triple-Mode Cavity Bandpass Filter on Doublet With Controllable Transmission Zeros

TL;DR: A class of multiple-mode narrow band bandpasss filter is designed and fabricated by simultaneously exploiting the three resonant modes in a single rectangular cavity: TE101, TE011, and TM110 modes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of Cu on microstructure, mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and cytotoxicity of CoCrW alloy fabricated by selective laser melting.

TL;DR: It is suggested that the feasible fabrication of Cu-bearing CoCrW alloy by SLM using mixed Co CrW and Cu powders is a promising candidate for use in antibacterial oral repair products and can aid in the further design of antibacterial Cu-containing CoCrw alloying powders.
