Search for anomalous production of multilepton events in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV

A. Abulencia, +638 more
TL;DR: A search for anomalous production of events with three or more isolated leptons in pp collisions at s = 7TeV is presented, and exclusion limits as a function of squark, gluino, and chargino masses are derived.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Monitoring Driver's Alertness Based on the Driving Performance Estimation and the EEG Power Spectrum Analysis

TL;DR: Methods for drowsiness estimation that combine the electroencephalogram (EEG) log subband power spectrum, correlation analysis, principal component analysis, and linear regression models to indirectly estimate driver's drowsness level in a virtual-reality-based driving simulator are proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for high mass dijet resonances with a new background prediction method in proton-proton collisions at √s = 13 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2360 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for narrow and broad resonances with masses greater than 1.8 TeV decaying to a pair of jets is presented, and the results show that no significant evidence for the production of new particles is observed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for gravitational waves associated with 39 gamma-ray bursts using data from the second, third, and fourth LIGO runs

B. P. Abbott, +485 more
- 17 Mar 2008 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for short-duration gravitational-wave bursts associated with 39 gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) detected by LIGO's S2, S3, and S4 science runs is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for electroweak production of charginos and neutralinos using leptonic final states in pp collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV

S. Chatrchyan, +2256 more
TL;DR: The 2011 data set of the CMS experiment, consisting of an integrated luminosity of 4.98 inverse femtobarns of pp collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV, enables expanded searches for direct electroweak pair production of charginos and neutralinos in supersymmetric models as well as their analogs in other models of new physics.
