Quantitative real-time kinetics of optogenetic proteins CRY2 and CIB1/N using single-molecule tools
TL;DR: The authors' experiments suggest that CIB1, in comparison with CIBN, possesses a better coupling efficiency with CRY2 due to its intact protein structure and lower diffusion rate within 300s detection window.

Air filter for high-efficiency pm2.5 capture
TL;DR: In this article, an air filter for high temperature filtration, comprising a substrate and a network of polymeric nanofibers deposited on the substrate, was described, wherein the air filter had a removal efficiency for PM2.5 of at least 70% at a temperature of a least 70 °C.

Effect of Dry Heat and Autoclave Decontamination Cycles on N95 FFRs
Cole Meisenhelder,Loic Anderegg,Andrew Preecha,Chiu Oan Ngooi,Lei Liao,Wang Xiao,Steven Chu,Yi Cui,John M. Doyle +8 more
TL;DR: The 95 {degrees}C dry heat cycle is scalable to over a thousand masks per day in a hospital setting, and is above the temperature which has been shown to achieve the requisite 3 log kill of SARS-CoV-2[1], making it a promising method for N95 decontamination and reuse.

COVID-19: Effects of environmental conditions on the propagation of respiratory droplets
TL;DR: The results of this study suggest that the current pandemic may not ebb in the summer of the northern hemisphere without proper intervention, as there is an increasing chance of aerosol transmission.
