Synthesis and characterization of Bi-BiPO4 nanocomposites as plasmonic photocatalysts for oxidative NO removal

TL;DR: In this paper, the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) of Bi metal was used to transfer hot electrons from Bi metal to BPO via the Bi-BPO interface, leading to the generation of superoxide (O2−) and hydroxyl (OH) radicals.
Journal ArticleDOI

Protein and protein assembly based material structures

TL;DR: In this feature article, recent progress in using protein structure based scaffolds in creating material structures is reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Visible-Light-Driven Nitrogen-Doped Carbon Quantum Dots/CaTiO3 Composite Catalyst with Enhanced NO Adsorption for NO Removal

TL;DR: In this article, solar-induced photocatalytic oxidation is a promising strategy for NOx removal, which has attracted extensive concerns as a secondary aerosol precursor in recent years.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ox‐LDL modifies the behaviour of bone marrow stem cells and impairs their endothelial differentiation via inhibition of Akt phosphorylation

TL;DR: Investigation of the effect of oxidized low‐density lipoprotein (ox‐LDL) on the behaviour of bone marrow stem cells and their endothelial differentiation as well as the underlying mechanisms found it promotes apoptosis and inhibits Oct‐4 expression and self‐renewal of MAPCs, and impairs their endotocyte differentiation via suppression of Akt signalling.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A complete test set to diagnose scan chain failures

TL;DR: The proposed test generation algorithm creates a complete test set that guarantees each defective scan cell has unique failing behavior and is extended to handle multiple failing scan chains and designs with embedded scan compression logic.
