Effect of radiative heat transfer on determining thermal conductivity of semi-transparent materials using transient plane source method

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of radiative heat transfer on determining thermal conductivity of semi-transparent materials using transient plane source method is numerically studied and the results show that the thermal conductivities of semitrans transparent materials measured by transient plane sources will be overestimated at temperature higher than 600 k and extinction coefficient less than 2000 m −1 where radiative Heat Transfer is dominant.

TL;DR: In this paper, the dynamic and vibration energy harvesting behaviors of defect phononic crystal beams in thermal environments were investigated with different geometric parameters of the defect cell and structural temperatures by using the supercell technique.
