A facile one-step synthesis to cross-linked polymeric nanoparticles as highly active and selective catalysts for cycloaddition of CO2 to epoxides.

TL;DR: A very convenient one-step synthesis to cross-linked polymeric nanoparticles by conventional radical copolymerization without the addition of stabilizers or surfactants was explored and exhibited excellent stability, activity and selectivity in the cycloaddition reaction of CO(2) to epoxides.
Journal ArticleDOI

Amino acid Schiff base complex catalyst for effective oxidation of olefins with molecular oxygen

TL;DR: In this paper, the amino acid Schiff base manganese complex (Sal-Phe-Mn) was prepared with l -phenylalanine, salicylaldehyde and Mn(OAc) 2 ·4H 2 O.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of well-defined, polymer-grafted silica nanoparticles via reverse ATRP

TL;DR: In this article, surface grafting onto ultrafine silica via reverse ATRP of methyl methacrylate initiated by peroxide groups introduced onto the surface and conventional ATRP initiated by the hybrid nanoparticles was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and properties of polyacrylate/bentonite superabsorbent hybrid via intercalated polymerization

TL;DR: In this paper, a polyacrylate intercalated bentonite superabsorbent hybrid had been prepared by means of solution polymerization with intercalating, polymerizing and crosslinking reaction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fluorescence properties of ternary complexes of polymer-bond triphenylphosphine, triphenylarsine, triphenylstibine, and triphenylbismuthine, rare earth metal ions, and thenoyltrifluoroacetone

TL;DR: In this paper, the reaction conditions of the formation and stability of rare earth metal ion-polymer-TTA ternary complexes are discussed and the fluorescence properties of synthesized complexes are investigated.
