Journal ArticleDOI
lavaan: An R Package for Structural Equation Modeling
TL;DR: The aims behind the development of the lavaan package are explained, an overview of its most important features are given, and some examples to illustrate how lavaan works in practice are provided.
Journal ArticleDOI
On the definition of signal-to-noise ratio and contrast-to-noise ratio for FMRI data.
Marijke Welvaert,Yves Rosseel +1 more
TL;DR: An overview of existing definitions of signal-to-noise ratio is provided and the relationship with activation detection power is investigated and Reference tables and conversion formulae are provided to facilitate comparability between fMRI studies.
Journal ArticleDOI
White matter hyperintensities and imaging patterns of brain ageing in the general population
Mohamad Habes,Mohamad Habes,Guray Erus,Jon B. Toledo,Tianhao Zhang,Nick Bryan,Lenore J. Launer,Yves Rosseel,Deborah Janowitz,Jimit Doshi,Sandra Van der Auwera,Bettina von Sarnowski,K Hegenscheid,Norbert Hosten,Georg Homuth,Henry Völzke,Ulf Schminke,Wolfgang Hoffmann,Hans J. Grabe,Christos Davatzikos +19 more
TL;DR: The hypothesis that white matter hyperintensities contribute to patterns of brain atrophy found in beyond-normal brain ageing in the general population is supported.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Relation between Elementary Students' Recreational and Academic Reading Motivation, Reading Frequency, Engagement, and Comprehension: A Self-Determination Theory Perspective.
TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed and validated the SRQ-Reading Motivation, a questionnaire measuring recreational and academic reading motivation based on self-determination theory, and found that recreational reading motivation is associated with more positive reading behavior and better performance.
Journal ArticleDOI
The relationship between the perception of distributed leadership in secondary schools and teachers' and teacher leaders' job satisfaction and organizational commitment
TL;DR: This article investigated the relation between distributed leadership, the cohesion of the leadership team, participative decision-making, context variables, and the organizational commitment and job satisfaction of teachers and teacher leaders.
