The invention provides a method and a device for realizing page turning by using a fingerprint key. The method comprises the following steps: detecting a page turning instruction through an instruction mode of a fingerprint module; determining a target page turning direction based on the page turning instruction; page turning being realized in a reading interface of the preset application programbased on the target page turning direction. The technical proposal disclosed by the invention can realize page turning by using the keys corresponding to the fingerprint module, thereby effectively improving the correctness of the terminal equipment identification operation instructions.
