TL;DR: P. aeruginosa is the most common organism causing heightened airway inflammation and poor lung function in patients with steady-state bronchiectasis in Guangzhou, and should be suspected in case of longer duration of symptoms, multilobar bronchiECTasis, frequent exacerbation and cystic bronchiectomy.
