A Versatile 3D and 4D Printing System through Photocontrolled RAFT Polymerization
TL;DR: A rapid visible light mediated RAFT polymerization process that provided facile spatial control over the network structure by varying the light dose to each layer of the 3D printed material and enabled post functionalization of the printed materials via secondary photopolymerization processes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Porphyrinic Zirconium Metal–Organic Frameworks (MOFs) as Heterogeneous Photocatalysts for PET-RAFT Polymerization and Stereolithography
Liwen Zhang,Xiaobing Shi,Zhiheng Zhang,Rhiannon P. Kuchel,Rashin Namivandi-Zangeneh,Nathaniel Corrigan,Kenward Jung,Kang Liang,Cyrille Boyer +8 more
TL;DR: Results suggested that the polymerization rates were significantly affected by changing the size and surface area of MOFs, and the heterogeneous MOF photocatalysts could be easily separated and recycled for up to five independent PET-RAFT polymerizations without an obvious decrease in efficiency.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Thiocarbonylthio Compounds on Visible-Light-Mediated 3D Printing
TL;DR: In this article, photoinduced electron/energy transfer-reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (PET-RAFT) polymerization has been successfully employed in three-dimensional (3D) printing to synthesize materials with controlled architecture and diverse functions.

Free-standing sulfonated graphene-polypyrrole-polyethylene glycol foam for highly flexible supercapacitors
Jialong Fu,Chaoyue Cai,Zhiheng Zhang,Xiaoying Wang,Cheng Wang,Shaoyu Xu,Han Wu,Yibo Zhao,Cheng Zhang,Jin Zhu,Xinhui Zhao,Ruibo Xu,Mingyang Wang,Peter C. Sherrell,Jun-Cai Chen +14 more
TL;DR: Flexible and free-standing sulfonated graphene-polypyrrole-polyethylene glycol (SGE-PPy-PEG) foam electrodes were prepared via one-step electrodeposition process, exploiting coupling between negatively charged sulfate groups and positively charged pyrrole rings, followed with the sacrifice step of inner Ni foam structure as mentioned in this paper .
