Journal ArticleDOI

Selective formation of ordered arrays of octacalcium phosphate ribbons on TiO2 nanotube surface by template-assisted electrodeposition

TL;DR: A mechanism has been proposed to explain the formation of the OCP patterned film with hierarchically porous structure and distinct selectivity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Elasticity modulus, hardness and fracture toughness of Ni3Sn4 intermetallic thin films

TL;DR: In this paper, the elasticity modulus of Ni 3 Sn 4 thin films was measured to be around 134 GPa by nano-indentation and fracture toughness varied considerably with the annealing temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI

A general approach towards multi-faceted hollow oxide composites using zeolitic imidazolate frameworks

TL;DR: This work reports an efficient and universal strategy to fabricate a variety of porous hollow oxide nanocomposites composed of nanosized subunits, which involves a sol-gel process to form a shell onto the dodecahedral zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF) template and a subsequent thermolysis-induced transformation of the template at appropriate temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Design and durability study of environmental-friendly room-temperature processable icephobic coatings

TL;DR: In this article, a silicone-epoxy hybrid resin, polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and SiO2 nanoparticles with different sizes were used to fabricate fluorine-free icephobic coatings with potential applications for outdoor facilities and structures.
Journal ArticleDOI

A superhydrophobic TPU/CNTs@SiO2 coating with excellent mechanical durability and chemical stability for sustainable anti-fouling and anti-corrosion

TL;DR: In this article , a super-hydrophobic TPU/[email protected]2 composite coating was proposed, which has excellent self-cleaning and anti-fouling properties and expected to have great potentials in various industrial fields.
