A categorization of multiscale-decomposition-based image fusion schemes with a performance study for a digital camera application

TL;DR: A generic image fusion framework based on multiscale decomposition is studied, which includes all of the existing multiscales-decomposition-based fusion approaches the authors found in the literature which did not assume a statistical model for the source images.

Video surveillance system employing video primitives

TL;DR: In this paper, a video surveillance system extracts video primitives and extracts event occurrences from the video primifiers using event discriminators, and the system can undertake a response such as an alarm, based on extracted event occurrences.
Journal ArticleDOI

Performance comparison of a co-crystal of carbamazepine with marketed product.

TL;DR: Comparison of oral bioavailability of 1 with Tegretol tablets in dogs shows the co-crystal to be a viable alternative to the anhydrous polymorph in formulated solid oral products and physical and chemical stability of the co -crystal is shown to be quantitatively similar to the pure drug in the marketed product.
Journal ArticleDOI

Combined use of crystalline salt forms and precipitation inhibitors to improve oral absorption of celecoxib from solid oral formulations

TL;DR: Formulations of crystal forms having high energy (a 'spring'), thus transiently increasing solubility in aqueous solution relative to the free acid, combined with excipients functioning as precipitation inhibitors ('parachutes') were shown to provide both enhanced dissolution and high oral bioavailability.

Video segmentation using statistical pixel modeling

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for segmenting video data into foreground and background (324) portions utilizes statistical modeling of the pixels Λ statistical model of the background is built for each pixel, and each pixel in an incoming video frame is compared with the background statistical model for that pixel.
