Abstract: Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) is a promising platform for the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). Car-following theory is a significant research direction in the field of VANET, it describes the one-by-one following process of vehicles on the same lane in traffic flow. The paper analyzed Krauss car-following model and proposed a new model based on the speed safe and Krauss model in SUMO 0.21.0 platform to improve the authenticity of model. We implement it on the SUMO platform. This model considers the movement state of the car and the gradual process of deceleration in vehicles braking. Simulation experimental results show the superiority of new model over other ones in simulation that models real streets. It achieves good results in wait time, travel time, lane-change number and safe speed.

Abstract: Consolidation of the multiple traffic types present in current data centers over a single unified network is a big trend in the information technology industry. Extensions to 10G Ethernet are making it the most promising technology for achieving I/O consolidation. The emerging Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) protocol plays a critical role in this convergence process. This paper elaborates how FCoE leverages the ubiquity and economics of Ethernet networks while preserving the infrastructure, strengths, and tools of the existing Fibre Channel Storage Area Network (SAN) framework.

Abstract: This paper uses Maple for the auxiliary tool to evaluate the integrals of two types of trigonometric functions. We can obtain the Fourier series expansions of these two integrals by using integration term by term. Our research way is to count the answers by hand, and then use Maple to verify our results. This research way can not only let us find the calculation errors but also help us to revise the original thinking direction because we can verify the correctness of our theory from the consistency of hand count and Maple calculations.

Abstract: A novel tilted fiber Bragg grating (TFBG)-based magnetic field sensor by incorporating magnetic fluid is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. It is based on the refractive index change of magnetic fluid with external magnetic field. Magnetic field strength measurement is successfully achieved within a range from 0 to 196 Gauss by monitoring extinction ratio of the TFBG's cladding mode resonance, which is sensitive to surrounding refractive index.
