TL;DR: In this paper, an online detection technique of 3D defects based on photometric stereo was developed for detecting hot and cold-rolled steels, with pseudo and real defects such as roll imprints, cracks and scratches on surface.
Abstract: 2D Detection with gray level images is popularly employed in current surface inspection systems of steel strips, which lead to high false detection rate because of interference of pseudo-defects, such as iron oxide, water stains, and grease. Therefore, an online detection technique of 3D defects based on photometric stereo was developed in this paper. The acquired 3D information is utilized to distinguish real 3D defects from pseudo-defects, which can significant improve the performance of surface inspection system. The designed inspection system was equipped with lasers and linear CCD camera to scan the moving surface of steel strips, referred as the photometric stereo laser scanning system. Samples of hot and cold-rolled steels, with pseudo and real defects such as roll imprints, cracks and scratches on surface, were scanned and showed obvious distinguishment.

Abstract: Based on the Unity3D multi platform to establish a three-dimensional virtual digital campus system, has a strong practical. Using the Unity3D engine to realize the virtual digital campus scene design, access and interactive roaming and other functions, the need to achieve a combination of various simulation effects. The 3D Virtual Digital Campus Based on Unity3D development system has high efficiency and low maintenance cost, which has obvious advantages. This paper will mainly elaborate the principle of system design, design of virtual scene and the practice of the system.

Abstract: With the rapid development of wireless communication technology, people's life has undergone great changes. In recent years, the comfort and safety of the building environment have become a universal concern. However, building fire is the greatest threat to building safety. In consideration of the current issues on building security, the design applies the important part, the wireless sensor network technology to building fire safety monitoring system and establishes the wireless sensor network by using ZigBee technology and ZigBee-WiFi gateway which transforms ZigBee network into WiFi network, In addition, taking advantage of the ZigBee wireless sensor network locates a fire place so that the fire information is uploaded to the handheld terminal and the building security personnel work out the retreat and rescue plan in time. This paper provides a new solution for building fire monitoring system.

Abstract: The basic principle of Classic traditional information retrieval model is the machine matching of the key word, namely retrieval based on keywords. This paper proposes a pre-clustering-based latent semantic analysis algorithm for document retrieval. The algorithm can solve the problem of time consuming computation of the similarity between the query vector and each text vector in the traditional latent semantic algorithm for document retrieval. It first clusters the documents using k-means clustering based on the latent semantic analysis, finds out the central point of each cluster, and then calculates the similarity between the query vector and each cluster's central points for retrieval. In view of the characteristics of document retrieval, it proposes a new method for calculating the feature weights and adopts the method of pre-clustering to preprocess document collection. The results of the experiment show that the new algorithm can reduce the search time, and improve the retrieval efficiency.

Abstract: As the course of computer operating system requires students to understand the interactions between computer systems, users and hardware platform, this paper concentrates on the problem of using the virtualization technology in computer operating system teaching. Particularly, virtualization technology is designed to simulate the real computer hardware environment, and then make the operating system run in a virtual computer environment. Because the virtual machine software can simulate real computer hardware equipment, several operating systems are supported, such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Unix etc. The main idea of this paper is to utilize the VMware software in operating system teaching. VMware provides a completely virtualized set of hardware for a specific operating system. Afterwards, we discuss how to design and implement an experimental platform with multiple operating systems based on VMware.

Abstract: According to the life cycle cost analysis theory, this paper presents a mathematical model of life cycle cost for urban rail transit vehicle. The life cycle phases of urban rail transit vehicle are divided into four stages: procurement, operation, maintenance, recycling and disposal. Then the life cycle costing model is applied to 6A metro train and 8B metro train in order to identify significant cost contributors. Results show that the purchase cost is the highest among all of life cycle cost and the unit vehicle price has a great effect on the total cost. Based on comparison with different train formation plans, it is concluded that the change range of vehicle purchase cost is lower than operating cost and maintenance cost. Thus, when selecting the vehicle type for urban rail transit, all the stage cost should be considered so as to obtain the optimal plan based on the principle of cost minimization.

Abstract: The entrance and exit zones of urban tunnel have been considered as the most dangerous parts along the tunnel for its sharp changes of the driving environment. The objective of this paper is to extract a comprehensive measure from numerous original measures which reflect drivers' Nanoscopic behaviors to measure the safety of urban tunnel entrance and exit. Field test was conducted at Xi'an men tunnel located in Nanjing. The drivers' heart rate (HR) and eye movement, together with the pupillary diameter at the entrance and exit of urban tunnel were collected synchronously with the D-Lab system. Operating speed was recorded by the video camera, and then the individual vehicle acceleration was calculated. Following the factor analysis procedure, three factors, which explain 90.18% and 89.15% of the variance in the original data for entrance and exit separately, are retained from the initial four Nanoscopic driving behavior measures. According to weight score of each factor, a comprehensive measure (FE) which could reflect Nanoscopic driving behavior was extracted by linear combination of the three retained factors. To measure the safety level of urban tunnel gateway, FE is classified into three levels. The criterion for safety classification is given as: |FE|=0.05, safe, 0.050.10, dangerous. The validation by comparing with tunnel environmental shows that the measure proposed in this paper is acceptable and more accurate in evaluating the safety of tunnel gateway zones.

Abstract: Human tracking in indoor environment plays an important role in intelligent housing system that enables the smart appliances to provide fine-grained services with the information of users' walking trajectories. This paper presents a device-free human tracking system only using existing commercial WiFi supported devices and smart appliances. We consider that a human walking trajectory consists of a series of moving behaviors and we can determine the trajectory by detect those behaviors. Those behaviors can be sensed according to their influence on the signals of neighboring WiFi devices (we call these devices Check Points). A machine learning method is used to train a classifier to identify the above behaviors. Furthermore, an uniform trace recording format consisting of the moving behaviors series, is designed for thewalking trajectories comparison. By calculating the similarity between the measured human trace and stored trace profiles, we can determine the specific trajectory. Our experimental evaluation in three different scenarios shows that our approach can achieve over 95% average accuracy on moving behaviors identification and over 90% average accuracy on trace determination.

Abstract: With the rapid development of computer technology, image processing technology is significantly improved. In this paper, a method of moving target tracking based on computer vison is studied. By combining with the results of the Marr image research, we first introduce the framework of computer vision theory via a bottom-up visual tracking processing method. To be specific, we take the rocket as an example. Consecutively applying the segmentation algorithm and the tracking algorithm, we find that the accuracy of separation and the instantaneity of image can be enhanced, which makes a significant contribution to the target tracking technology.

Abstract: This paper studies the system structure of smart distribution grid. It establishes group communication model according to the structure characteristics of smart distribution grid. Based on the analysis on information security of smart distribution grid, integrated with cryptography theory we design a security group communication scheme. The scheme adopt the method of hierarchical group key management, which can achieves identity authentication and message integrity authentication during the group key generation process. It effectively avoids the behavior such as illegal access, eavesdropping and camouflage. The experiment provides the security analysis and performance analysis of our scheme. The simulation results show the scheme in this paper is technically feasible.

Abstract: Adaboost is a kind of traversal image searching method, which wastes testing time seriously and should be improved. Skin color detection is used to optimize front-end detection that is relatively stable and has fast speed. In skin color detection, UCS space is used to segment image quickly. Then Adaboost algorithm is used to detect human face based on segmented skin color area. The experiment results show that proposed face detection algorithm has faster speed. Besides, it has lower false detection rate and missing detection rate than Adaboost algorithm. The proposed face detection algorithm can provide reference for design of actual face detection system to some extent.

Firstly, management information system is designed promote the management level of modern enterprise, provide the useful information, report forms for the manager, and provide the search service for managers make clear the actual situation. Secondly, structure of the management information system for chain business corporation is made up of three modules, that is, 1) Management information system for headquarters, 2) Management information system for sales, 3) Management information system for logistics. Thirdly, the hardware of management information system is made up of a central server and an ERP management server, which contains database server, application server, and web server. Abstract: In GNSS/INS navigation integrated systems, the selection of inertial sensors is a factor which can impact their system performances implicitly. Unfortunately, the research of the relationship between the inertial sensor errors and the navigation performances is not sufficient yet. In this case, the mathematical relationship between the sensor quality and the INS (Inertial Navigation System) performance is firstly derived in details based on a 6 DOF (Degree of Freedom) model. Since the INS is a part of the GNSS/INS system, the influence of the sensor errors on the total performance is further analyzed. By simulating an integrated system using three different grade IMUs (Inertial Measurement Units), the influence mechanism is proved.

Abstract: Industrial robots have been widely applied in grasping static workpieces, but the measurement method for the three-dimensional position of known specifications and random location of online workpieces still cannot meet the application requirements of the industrial field. In this paper, system structure and installation design of hardware were introduced firstly. Then, image pre-processing and feature extraction were established, composing of image enhancement, image smooth, edge detection, corner detection and angle calculation. Finally, a monocular vision-guided robot grasping device platform was established as well as corresponding software control platform. Experimental results indicated that the monocular vision system could quickly identify the workpiece pose with high measurement accuracy and that the robot could successfully grasp random location workpieces.

Abstract: While great success has been demonstrated in numerous tracking algorithm, some challenging problems still remain such as motion, shape deformation and occlusion. In this paper, the proposed algorithm can work robustly to overcome the occlusion and fast movement in real -- world scenarios. A discriminative model based on the Gaussian superpixel model is constructed to descript the change of the target and the background. The calculation of the superpixel's weight uses the special information and a penalize factor. Furthermore, the tracking result is selected from the candidates generated under the framework of particle filter. The candidate with the highest score would be set to the tracking result. Besides, the update strategy which updates according to the trend of candidate's score is adaptive in order to suit for the change of the target. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm performs more stable compared with several state-of-the-art algorithms when dealing with occlusion and fast movement.

Abstract: The impacts between car to concrete pole occurred frequently in traffic accident, those accidents usually result in severe car damage and widespread power failure. In order to learn the dynamic response of car to concrete pole impact and fracture mechanics of concrete pole, a finite element model of vehicle-pole collision was developed and validated. Then, three impacts between car and concrete pole under the different speed was carried out. The results show that the maximum longitudinal intrusion of the vehicle increased 13.9% as the speed increasing from 30 to 70km/h, while the proportion of absorbing energy by car to the total kinetic energy decreased from 43.6% down to 14.6%. The concrete poles are damaged in all cases due to the shear force, and the damage degree and break-point of pole are different at three speeds. This provides a helpful reference to the design of frontal car body and the concrete pole strength design in impact loading.

Abstract: To solve problems that existed in wired water monitoring system, such as high cost and restricted monitoring water range, a kind of Lijiang River water environment monitoring system is designed based on WSN. In order to ensure long survival time of the sensor node and a high performance of routing node, MSP430 and ARM32F107 processor are employed respectively. After preprocessing data, MU709 3G module will upload them to the remote data management center. Test results show that the system runs stably, its measurements are accurate and reliable, thus the system is suitable for harsh conditions.

Abstract: When analyzing non-stationary and nonlinear signals, empirical mode decomposition (EMD) has a very important advantage. However, it has a serious problem, which is the endpoint effect. Mirror continuation is an effective method of restraining the endpoint effect, but when processing the endpoint effect with the mirror continuation, we demand the mirror placed at the local extreme points. According to this limitation, this paper proposes an improved mirror continuation method. Namely, we assume the two endpoints of signals are maximum or minimum points according to the condition before using the mirror continuation, and then do the mirror continuation. It can overcome the error of continuation, which is generated for the reason that the place where the mirror put is not extreme point in the mirror continuation method. The simulation results and the analysis of actual application show that the improved method can restrain the endpoint effect better.

Abstract: For the thermal infrared image edge detection is slow, the multi-core programming technology is applied in this paper, the traditional Sobel operator was redesigned in a parallel way. This paper proposes a parallel bi-level color edge detection methodology with mathematical morphology and the traditional edge detection methods based on the multi-channel image information, the image data of each channel was assigned to different cores. This reduced the thermal infrared image edge detection running time. The appliance proves the validity of the methodology.

Abstract: The content of fire cause investigation is a vital essential work in each fire disaster due to the fire outcome is not only to be the reference as fire prevention but also the significant gist to improve firefighting. At the practice of site fire investigation, most are using notebook to recording describe information as official document, such process is obviously lacking for carrying convenience and recording instantaneity. Meanwhile, after causing of fire, the investigation work utilizes, building information captions to return the original fire scene and identify the ignition point. In traditional, it is using two dimensions floor plans in paper, but that will be limited to provide architectural spaces information, because it usually can't represent the actual appearance of the building. If can use three-dimensional characteristics of building information modeling (BIM) which can assist investigators produced concept of space and visualization. In recent years, smart handheld devices becoming more and more popular, these devices are light and convenience as well as humanity operation interface, compatible with matured software and hardware communications technology. Abstract: This paper further analyzes the problems in stock short market forecasting and compares multiple stock price forecasting algorithms. It also discusses the feasibility of BP neural network, PCA method and Genetic Algorithm in short market forecasting. For the defects of traditional BP algorithm which often traps into local minima, in forecasting accuracy, we optimize the BP neural network and establish a GA-BP algorithm based forecasting model. The experiments adopt the Shanghai index data to make simulation and provide corresponding error analysis. The results show that the GABP model proposed in this paper has certain improvement in stock price forecasting accuracy.

Abstract: A novel approach to solving the robust topology optimization problem under loading uncertainty was developed. According to the superposition principle of linear structure, computational method for the excepted value and standard deviation of the compliance by Monte Carlo sampling is adopted. In order to avoid the computation of the sensitivity of the objective and improve computational efficiency, the proportional topology optimization method which shows comparable efficiency and accuracy with gradient-based method is used. The numerical examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Abstract: How to use every transportation vehicle sufficiently to transport emergency material is a difficult and complex question in emergency supplies. For the question, this paper established a mathematical model to describe it. Owing to advantages of genetic algorithm, such as good parallel search ability, great applicability in combinatorial optimization, the paper applied genetic algorithm to solve the problem. Through scientific and rapid calculation on the computer, a transportation scheme with minimum errors and high accuracy is attained.

Abstract: The vector control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor based on sliding mode observer (SMO) is studied in this paper. On the basis of analyzing the traditional sliding mode observer, an improved sliding mode observer is proposed. Firstly, by using the hyperbolic tangent function instead of the traditional symbol function, the chattering of the system is suppressed. Secondly, a low pass filter which has the variable cutoff frequency along with the rotor speed is designed to reduce the phase delay. Then, by using Kalman filter, it could make back EMF information more smoothly. Finally, in order to obtain accurate position and velocity information, the method of phase-locked loop (PLL) is proposed to estimate the position and speed of the rotor. The simulation results show that the new algorithm can not only improve the accuracy of the position and speed estimation of the rotor but reduce the chattering of the system.

Abstract: Pedestrians are at high risk of injuries in traffic accident due to lack of protective equipment. Chest injuries are one of the primary injuries that can cause lifelong disability and death in pedestrian accidents. In order to investigate chest biomechanics response under different frontal structures of vehicles in real world vehicle to pedestrian accidents, the THUMS 4.01 human body FE model and two vehicle FE models with different frontal structures (medium car, one-box vehicle) were developed with the finite element method. The deformation of heart, lung and other soft tissue were analyzed under impact velocity of 40 km/h. The results showed that the different frontal structures of vehicle cased different chest soft tissues injures. This study can provide a reference to assess chest soft tissue injury in vehicle-pedestrian collisions.

Abstract: Landscape architecture is devoted to harmonious development between man and nature. With the introduction of contemporary suitable scientific technology, as the "art of science", landscape architecture is bound to enter a new stage of development. Nowadays, digital technology has been widely used in the world and various industries. Using the process that digital technology has boost the development of landscape architecture industry as links, this article expounds the application object, function and basic operating software of digital technology in the landscape architecture planning and design, which triggered the current situation of landscape architecture education in digital technology.

Abstract: It is common for medical oral English classroom to be teacher-centered instruction. But the weakest point of this method is that the students lose their autonomy in this learning environment and feel difficult to stimulate their interest in oral English learning. A new approach to oral English classroom is therefore required. Recently, a growing number of scholars home have focus their attention on the flipped classroom mode, but they attach great importance to English for general purpose. In view of this, an empirical study of flipped classroom in English for specific purpose is conducted. That is, the experiment of flipped classroom in medical oral English is carried out for 16 weeks. The study indicates that the flipped classroom has a great influence on medical oral English teaching. The study also shows, to a large extent, breaks through confinement by the teacher-centered and classroom-centered traditional teaching mode, and therefore helps improve the medical students' oral English and communicative competence.
