TL;DR: In this article, the power circuit design based on the constant current flyback and the heat distribution is discussed and the aims of the work are provide a solution for using LED to replace the traditional lighting device.
Abstract: High power LED provides a high luminous and high efficient for using as a lighting source. Because of the advent for LED as lighting device, LED lighting becomes one of the new trends in the lighting industry. In this paper, the power circuit design based on the constant current flyback and the heat distribution matter are discussed. The aims of the work are provide a solution for using LED to replace the traditional lighting device.

TL;DR: A vehicle is considered green when it more environmentally friendly than the traditional petroleum combustion engine, in which includes any nontraditional vehicle like, HEV, Plug In, EV, Fuel Cell, Bio fuel etc as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: A vehicle is consider Green when it more environmentally friendly than the traditional petroleum combustion engine, in which includes any nontraditional vehicle like, HEV, Plug In, EV, Fuel Cell, Bio fuel etc. that improves fuel economy. The development of electric vehicle has been over a hundred years but failure to gain the public acceptance in various stages due to various reasons which explained. While EV was never mass produced, Hybrid electric vehicle gains the momentum in recent years. Ford has launched its second generation of HEV and GM also announced the debut of the Volt in 2010. Comparing to the regular HEV, Plug in is the new trend in hybrid auto development due to extend travel range in electrical mode and a possibility of a zero emission as long as travel distance is less than charging threshold. However, more recently, an electrification trend in automotive industry has been evolved and will revolutionize the industry. With the correct policy and government help and advancement of electric vehicle technology, the prospect of Electric Vehicle will be bright and the focus point of future development.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors discuss the current developing stage of dc distributed power system by the following contents: the basic structure and characteristics; the benefits of the dc distribution system; the development of current techniques adopted in DPS and its analysis of protection and system interaction.
Abstract: The history of the centralized and distributed power system is introduced far away from the power system being first built by Edison, which started the first confrontation between ac and dc power system. Although ac power system has dominated for a long century because of easy transmission and some other benefits, dc power system has still gave some good performances and attracted more attention during the past three decades. This paper will discuss the current developing stage of dc distributed power system by the following contents: the basic structure and characteristics; the benefits of the dc distribution system; the development of current techniques adopted in DPS and its analysis of protection and system interaction. In additional, the comparisons between dc and ac distributed power system are presented in detail, and finally, the challenge in future is also summarized.

TL;DR: The results show that the PMFS machine combines the key advantages of the PM machines and the switched reluctance machine, and thus demonstrate the viability of the proposed machine as a suitable candidate for in-wheel electric propulsion.
Abstract: A novel twelve-stator-pole, twenty-two-rotor-pole (12/22) outer-rotor permanent-magnet flux-switching (PMFS) machine for electric propulsion in a lightweight electric vehicle is presented. Analytical equations are derived for the dimensioning of a 3-phase 5kW in-wheel motor. Optimisation techniques are employed to maximise the performance of the machine. The validity of the analytical equations is verified by finite element analysis (FEA). The results show that the PMFS machine combines the key advantages of the PM machines and the switched reluctance machine, and thus demonstrate the viability of the proposed machine as a suitable candidate for in-wheel electric propulsion.

TL;DR: In this article, a voltage sag detection method based on miss voltage technique is proposed, which is efficient and fast and can be used to determine the initiation and recovery of voltage sags accompanied by missing voltage technique.
Abstract: Determining the start and end of the voltage sag event is very important for sag analysis and mitigation. There are several detection methods for voltage sags in which sag voltages are usually expressed in the terms of RMS. The RMS method represents one cycle historical average value, not instantaneous value which may lead to long detection time when voltage sag has occurred. This paper will proposed a novel voltage sag detection method based on miss voltage technique. Proper dead-band and hysteresis are used in the method. The actual instantaneous voltage is compared with certain percentage of desired grid voltage and certain percentage of the amplitude of the grid voltage. Through instantaneous value comparison, low instantaneous value of the grid is shielded which overcome the mishandling turnover of voltage sags. The approach is fully described, and the results are compared with other methods for marking the beginning and end of sag, such as RMS value evaluation method and Peak-value method and simulation result provides that the method is efficient and fast and can be used to determine the initiation and recovery of voltage sags accompanied by missing voltage technique.
