Abstract: En este trabajo se revisan los principales metodos de clasificacion climatica que han sido aplicados al territorio gallego, haciendo especial enfasis en aquellos orientados a explicar la relacion entre parametros climaticos y la distribucion de los vegetales sobre la superficie terrestre (bioclimatologia). Igualmente, se presentan por primera vez expresiones cartograficas de detalle (macrobioclimas, bioclimas, termotipos y ombrotipos) resultantes de la aplicacion de la “Clasificacion Bioclimatica Mundial” de S. Rivas-Martinez a una base de 209 estaciones meteorologicas de Galicia y territorios proximos. Segun esta clasificacion bioclimatica, la mayor parte del territorio de Galicia se encuentra dentro del macrobioclima templado, perteneciendo una proporcion elevada del mismo a su variante submediterranea, mientras que solamente el tramo final de la cuenca del Rio Sil y sus principales afluentes (Bibei, Xares, Lor) pertenecen al macrobioclima mediterraneo-pluviestacional. En cuanto al grado de continentalidad, se puede considerar que la mayor parte de Galicia presenta un clima poco contrastado (bioclimas hiperoceanicos y semioceanicos), debido al efecto modulador del mar. De esta tendencia se aleja unicamente el extremo SE que se incluye en el bioclima semicontinental. Los termotipos presentes en las areas templadas son termotemplado, mesotemplado, supratemplado, orotemplado y criorotemplado, este ultimo restringido a las cumbres mas elevadas del macizo de Trevinca-Sanabria; dentro de las areas mediterraneas se reconoce exclusivamente el termotipo mesomediterraneo. Los ombrotipos representados comprenden desde el subhumedo inferior al ultrahiperhumedo, siendo dominantes los de tipo humedo (inferior y superior). Por ultimo, se discuten algunas cuestiones relativas a las limitaciones derivadas de la red de estaciones meteorologicas empleada asi como la necesidad de su mejora para cubrir las crecientes demandas de informacion relativas al calentamiento global y su posible influencia en los habitats terrestres, especialmente en las areas de montana.

Abstract: Se revisan las diversas propuestas corologicas que se han ido sucediendo a lo largo del ultimo siglo para el SW Europeo en general y el territorio gallego en particular, asi como los fundamentos teoricos sobre los que estas se sustentan. Teniendo en cuenta el estado actual de los conocimientos sobre flora y vegetacion en el extremo NW Iberico y los efectos que la dinamica paleoambiental reciente (Pleistoceno-Holoceno) y la actividad humana han tenido en este territorio, se propone una nueva sectorizacion biogeografica enmarcada en la propuesta mas reciente de Rivas-Martinez para la Peninsula Iberica. Como aportacion mas novedosa de esta nueva sectorizacion destaca la inclusion de la totalidad del territorio gallego dentro de la Region Eurosiberiana, desestimandose la existencia de territorios biogeograficamente mediterraneos, tal y como habia sido sostenido hasta el momento por numerosos autores.

Abstract: Pollen sequences, in particular those obtained from limnetic sediments, have emerged as the most effective tool when assessing Quaternary climatic changes at regional level and their impact on ecosystems. An important part of the records obtained in the NW Iberian has less than 3,000 years BP; the continuous sequences of more than 6,000 years and chronologies reaching 10,000 or 12,000 years, is limited to large peatlands in mountain areas; finally, the periods of more than 17,000 years are represented only in fossilized sediments, in which were obtained continuous records of 10,000 or 20,000 years and exceptionally periods of more than 50,000. The more than 200 sequences available for the NW Iberian peninsula, allow a proper evaluation of the impact of climate change and anthropogenic influence on ecosystems over the past 100,000 years. The abundance of data, agrees to recognize the different influence of these changes on the different biogeographic areas of the territory.

Abstract: O objetivo do trabalho foi avaliar a qualidade pós - colheita de frutos de mangueira Tommy Atkins, cultivada sob sistema orgânico. Os frutos foram avaliados logo ao chegarem ao laboratório (0) e após armazenamento em câmara fria a 10,5º ± 1 ºC e 85,5º ± 5 % de UR, durante, 14, 28 e 42 dias após a colheita (DAC), sendo que após cada período, foram retirados da câmara fria e mantidos durante quatro dias a 21 ± 1º C e 55-65 % de UR, após o que foram caracterizados física, biológica e químicamente. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos inteiramente ao acaso. As médias foram comparadas pelo teste de Tukey. Os frutos foram avaliados quanto a: perda de água e a aparência, danos mecânicos, coloração da casca, firmeza da polpa, ocorrência de colapso interno, escurecimento de lenticelas, danos por lesões devido ao ataque de Lasiodiplodia, Colletotrichum ou por Alternaria ou por tripes; SST, ATT e o pH da polpa. As mangas estavam aptas para o consumo por volta dos 18 DAC, tempo, mais do que suficiente para se proceder ao transporte do produto até mercados distantes, como o americano e o europeu.

Abstract: Land abandonment has become a topical issue in Galicia: there are scientific works that confirm its existence, legal texts that mention the “continuous reduction of agricultural area”, and enough visual evidence for any attentive observer. Nevertheless, the problem is far from being quantified and spatially located, largely because the spatial detail of the available statistical sources about land use and/or land cover is insufficient to capture its great spatial complexity. This paper approaches the problem from a cartographic perspective at municipal level, taking a group of municipalities usually considered as having a dynamic agriculture, and using a 50 year time-frame. The results confirm the decrease of agricultural area at the group level, but also point out that the decrease was concentrated on only a part of municipalities while the rest of them maintained levels that were equivalent to those of 1956 or even higher. Conclusions point towards the need for the spatial planning of measures intended to fight land abandonment and its consequences, so that they are tailored to the actual distribution of the problem.

This experiment was denominated videodancement and provided for young to thing/do dance at creative and inventive perspective, to be author of her/his work and expand her/his known/done about dance in the school.
