Abstract: In this paper, we obtain a unique common coupled fixed point theorem by using $(\psi , \alpha , \beta )$ -contraction in ordered partial metric spaces. We give an application to integral equations as well as homotopy theory. Also we furnish an example which supports our theorem.

TL;DR: The potential usefulness of Dichloromethane leaf extract of Leptadenia hastata as antifungal agent is indicated as well as minimum inhibition potential against Fusarium oxysporium in all the concentration when compared with the control and to the other pathogens.
Abstract: The objective of this study was to evaluate if the plant extract could provide antifungal potential against some pathogenic fungi. Extract of Dichloromethane solvents was used for disc diffusion assay. The inhibitory concentration of the extract was performed by broth dilution method and zone of inhibition was studied by disc diffusion method at the concentration of 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000ppm in DMSO. Fluconazole was used as the reference control for antifungal study. The extract showed maximum inhibition potential of zone of inhibition against most of the pathogen (Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus flavus, Candida tropicalis and Fusarium oxysporium) used at concentration 25ppm to 250ppm with zone of inhibition (3.45±0, 3.33±0.12, 3.07±0.05 and 2.97±0.10mm respectively). The extract showed minimum inhibition potential against Fusarium oxysporium in all the concentration when compared with the control as well as to the other pathogens. Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus flavus was found to be more sensitive to Dichloromethane leaf extract followed by Candida tropical and lastly fusarium oxyspurium. The Present study indicates the potential usefulness of Dichloromethane leaf extract of Leptadenia hastata as antifungal agent. © 2018 Isaac John Umaru, Fasihuddin A. Badruddin, Henry Y. TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the long run and short run effect of climate change on agricultural output in Ethiopia over a period of 1980-2016 using Auto Regresive Distributive Lag approach to co integration.
Abstract: Currently change in climate is known as the main environmental difficult that the world face. Its effect is openly reduces agricultural output in particular and economic growth in general. The main objective of the study was to examine the long run and short run effect of climate change on agricultural output in Ethiopia over a period of 1980-2016. The Auto Regresive Distributive Lag approach to co integration was applied to examine the long run and short run effect of climate change on agricultural output. ADF test was used for Unit root test. Result of bound test reveals that there is stable long run relationship between RAGDP, labour force, Mean annual rainfall, Average temperature, agriculture land, and fertilizer input import. The estimated long run model reveals that climate changes have an important effect on agricultural output which is the main contributor of overall GDP of the country. The coefficient of error correction term is -0.738 suggesting about 73.8% annual adjustment towards long run equilibrium. The estimate coefficients of short run show that mean annual rainfall have significant effect whereas average temperature has insignificant effect on output. In the long run both main variable of interest have significant effect on agricultural output with a positive effect from mean annual rainfall and negative effect from average temperature. In order to lessen the effects the study recommends concerned body needs to create a specific policies especially focus on technological adoption that avert effect of increase in temperature and that would result increase on the output by adopting technology at macro and micro level, additionally information regarding climate should be available for producers and consumer.

TL;DR: A single phase on-board charger with low complexity control scheme is proposed for EV power transaction and the results demonstrating the feasibility and viability of the proposed system are presented.
Abstract: Vehicle to Grid (V2G) is the concept of connecting a group of electric vehicles (EV) to the grid for power transaction. EVs can be connected to the grid through the home interface or through the chargers available at charging stations. In this paper, a single phase on-board charger with low complexity control scheme is proposed for EV power transaction. The power flow from and to the grid is processed using two stage cascaded converters consisting of a bidirectional DC-DC and DC-AC converters. The LCL filter is used as an interface between DC-AC converter and the grid to attenuate the grid current harmonics. A proportional resonant (PR) controller is employed for the control of grid current and to enable the unity power factor operation of the DC-AC converter. The setbacks associated with the conventional proportional-integral (PI) controller for single phase system is elevated by employing PR controller. Filter design guidelines and the control strategy developed for the proposed system is numerically simulated and verified with extensive simulation carried using MATLAB/SIMULINK. The results demonstrating the feasibility and viability of the proposed system are presented.
