TL;DR: In this paper, the authors extensively discuss the optimization techniques applied in modelling and analyzing several member countries' vital economic indicators and reveal that goal programming (GP) and its variants mostly applied in this regard.
Abstract: The United Nations agenda 2030 adopted sustainable development goals in 2015 with 17 targets and 231 unique indicators achievable in 2030. The ever-growing demand for member countries for these achievements resulted in the setting of individual aspirational goals. This article extensively discusses the optimization techniques applied in modelling and analyzing several member countries’ vital economic indicators. The study reveals that goal programming (GP) and its variants mostly applied in this regard. Some variants identified include fuzzy GP, stochastic GP, polynomial GP, weighted GP, and GP with satisfaction function. Other multi-criteria optimization techniques also used in different concept. They include the analytic hierarchy process, the fuzzy-AHP, entropy method, the technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS), the fuzzy-TOPSIS, the VIKOR method, the combined compromise solution method and data envelopment analysis. Most of the studies carried out in Africa, Asia, Europe and the UAEs. It shows that some targets are achievable while others are not. Several suggestions and conclusions made in respect of different countries studied to achieve the SDGs vision 2030.

TL;DR: Folimat showed maximum pest population reduction followed with Closer 240, however, some non-target insects were found dead on trees treated with Folimat, an observation to be confirmed by further investigation.
Abstract: Mango (Mangifera indica L.) has been cultivated in Ethiopia at small scale level so far, but very few large scale farms have started to join the sector in recent days. Mango production in Ethiopia is currently constrained by white mango scale (Aulacaspis tubercularis). This study was performed to evaluate the efficacy of three formulations, i.e. Folimat, Closer 240 and D-C-Tron Plus, against white mango scale (WMS) on mango from mid-May 2016 to end of July 2016 in west Oromia. The experiment was laid in a Randomised Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. Volume of water enough for complete coverage of a mango tree was calibrated and repetitive treatment and response recording were conducted. The insecticides were applied by manual Knapsack sprayer, every 14 days for a total of three times. A total of ten leaves were picked randomly from the treatments and the untreated control one day prior to each treatment and on the 5th and 10th days after each treatment. Live crawler; male and female WMSs were counted by the use of stereo microscope and recorded as number of live WMS. Folimat showed maximum pest population reduction followed with Closer 240. However, some non-target insects were found dead on trees treated with Folimat, an observation to be confirmed by further investigation. Incorporating the less toxic insecticide, Closer 240 SC which showed a certain degree of the pest population reduction, in to Integrated Pest Management to control the white mango scale infestation on big trees of mango landrace is recommended.

TL;DR: The experimental results shows that N way ANOVA produce good performance in the case of computing the currency data set and computes faster than the evolution strategy for the computing system.
Abstract: The resolution of this learning is to explore the client-provision supplier rapport in the insurance production by means of artificial neural networks and linear regression. Data Analysis visualization is suggested to alleviate calculation difficulties in terms of knowledge discovery. Also, a category of currency data is presented to addresses the practical application by combining F ratio and p value to compute currency data. The experimental results based on One way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) is used to find the F ratio and p value where the F ratio is used in N way ANOVA to find the significance of party and chamber currency through artificial neural network. This shows that N way ANOVA produce good performance in the case of computing the currency data set and computes faster than the evolution strategy for the computing system.

TL;DR: This research has proposed hybrid approaches to addresses the initial software task placement problem by exploring the advantage of both Bat algorithm (BA) and Genetic algorithm (GA), to make the initial ST placement processes optimum and cost effective.
Abstract: The increasing demand of software service in cloud environment needs strategic placement in the cloud infrastructure. Thus, in which the users use the service based on the service model of the provider and pays based on their use of the resources. These resources are storage, memory processing element and bandwidth. Efficient optimal placement is the main issue in order to provide a cost effective service to the user. This research has proposed hybrid approaches to addresses the initial software task placement problem by exploring the advantage of both Bat algorithm (BA) and Genetic algorithm (GA), to make the initial ST placement processes optimum and cost effective. In order to evaluate the performance of the proposed hybrid algorithms, an experimental environment had configured using CloudSim simulation tool. The proposed solution performance has evaluated by compared with those existing placement algorithms such as Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm (PSO). According to the result the proposed algorithm has reduced the placement cost up to 2 −13% on a cloud environment.
