10 Jul 2002TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose a probe interface for multicast forwarding of selected data to the probe interface, including means for configuring the router to perform multicasting forwarding of the selected data.
Abstract: Selected data (LSP 1, LSP 2 ) is monitored among other data passing through label switched paths (LSPs) of a communications network of interconnected label switching routers (LSR 1 -LSR 4 ). The method comprises designating at least one of the routers (LSR 3 ) as a monitoring station and at least one of the routers (here LSR 3 also) as a probe interface station, and connecting a probe apparatus to that interface station. The monitoring station (LSR 3 ) is configured to multicast forward the selected data for monitoring additionally to the probe apparatus via the probe interface ( 506 ). Also disclosed is a probe apparatus including means for configuring the router to perform multicast forwarding of selected data to the interface.

TL;DR: The adaptive DP system may be implemented in EDA software along with interconnected test equipment (arbitrary RF signal source and vector signal analyzer) and may provide key information to design engineers for optimizing the DSP architecture of a PA.
Abstract: When compared to other linearization methods, adaptive DP provides sufficient linearization with less complex RF hardware by depending primarily upon DSP rather than analog manipulation. The adaptive DP system may be implemented in EDA software along with interconnected test equipment (arbitrary RF signal source and vector signal analyzer). Through the use of a training signal, a simple adaptive algorithm may be employed to update the LUT coefficients until an optimum setting is achieved and used to predistort the input to the amplifier. This "connected solution" approach can provide key information to design engineers for optimizing the DSP architecture of a PA. For future work, other issues are taken into account, such as temperature and electrical memory effects.

09 Sep 1998TL;DR: In this article, a plurality of orifices in an orifice member, at least six delivery chambers each in fluid-conducting relationship with at least one of the ORVMs, and at least two ORVs commonly venting at least three of the reservoirs.
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for delivering a plurality of different biological materials onto discrete locations on a receiving surface, as for example to fabricate an array of different biological materials. The apparatus and methods may include a plurality of orifices in an orifice member, at least six delivery chambers each in fluid conducting relationship with at least one of the orifices, a plurality of reservoirs each in fluid communication with at least one of the delivery chambers, means associated with each orifice for propelling fluid through the associated orifice from the delivery chamber that is in fluid conducting relationship with the orifice, and a vent for commonly venting at least two of the reservoirs. In some embodiments the chambers and reservoirs are loaded with fluids containing selected biomolecules by drawing the selected fluids into the chambers through the orifices; in other embodiments the fluids are introduced into the reservoirs. Also, methods for depositing biological materials onto a surface, as for example to fabricate a biomolecular array, employ the apparatus.

19 Dec 2003TL;DR: A rack for holding on its inside multiple electronic devices, which have fans for drawing outside air to inside the devices and exhaust ports for discharging air, including two pairs of support columns, is described in this article.
Abstract: A rack for holding on its inside multiple electronic devices, which have fans for drawing outside air to inside the devices and exhaust ports for discharging air, including two pairs of support columns, the columns of each pair being placed parallel to one another in the front and the back at a pre-determined distance apart from one another, and air ducts for directing exhaust air from the above-mentioned exhaust ports of these electronic devices positioned between at least one pair of the two pairs of support columns, having a structure wherein there are side covers that cover the side surfaces, and the air ducts are installed between the pair of support columns between the side covers and the inside of the rack and are substantially formed from multiple panels adjacent to one another inside of the rack.

TL;DR: An improved method was developed utilizing a streamlined method for the preparation of phosphoramidite monomers and a single-step deprotection of the resulting oligoribonucleotide product using 1,2-diamines under anhydrous conditions and it was demonstrated that the chemical synthesis of RNA can be as simple and robust as thechemical synthesis of DNA.
