TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrated that smile estimates on tachistoscopically presented photographs of faces were reliable and that judgments were not influenced by observer-observed face orientation.
Abstract: Magnitude estimates of smiles on tachistoscopically presented photographs of faces were demonstrated to be reliable. While estimates were altered by varying exposure duration, judgments were not influenced by observer-observed face orientation.

TL;DR: The relationship between retention of DAF-practiced material and voice change was insignificant, in marked contrast to a prior finding of a large and significant positive correlation.
Abstract: This study compared the accuracy of recall of connected meaningful material practiced under delayed auditory feedback with and without instructions to Ss that they would be asked to recall the material. No significant differences were found, confirming the results of a prior experiment. The relationship between retention of DAF-practiced material and voice change was insignificant, in marked contrast to a prior finding of a large and significant positive correlation.

TL;DR: Both immediate and delayed recalls were poorer following DAF reading, but the effect of S anxiety did not significantly affect retention of this verbal task.
Abstract: A short passage of prose was read under delayed auditory feedback (DAF) by 24 high MAS and 24 low MAS Ss, while an equal number of Ss read the passage under immediate auditory feedback (IAF). Reading times were recorded and oral recalls were taken immediately following the reading and 24 hr. later. Reading time was significantly shorter for IAF readings. Under DAF, high MAS Ss read significantly faster than low MAS Ss, although no time difference was found for IAF presentation. Both immediate and delayed recalls were poorer following DAF reading, but the effect of S anxiety did not significantly affect retention of this verbal task.

TL;DR: In this paper, females were found to be better form discriminators than males and increased task difficulty resulted in highlighting female superiority in tactual form discrimination tasks, easy and difficult under conditions of active and passive touch.
Abstract: Forty males and 40 females were randomly assigned to two tactual form discrimination tasks, easy and difficult under conditions of active and passive touch. Females were found to be better form discriminators than males and increased task difficulty resulted in highlighting female superiority.

TL;DR: In this paper, Grammatical class differences in serial learning are investigated. But they do not consider the relationship between the two types of learning. And they do so in a different context.
