TL;DR: This study replicated and extended the findings of MacCracken and Hayes (1976) by presenting the same complex stereogram for 5 trials daily over 2 nonconsecutive days, and latencies to achieve depth perception were recorded.
Abstract: This study replicated and extended the findings of MacCracken and Hayes (1976). 10 students were presented the same complex stereogram for 5 trials daily over 2 nonconsecutive days, and latencies to achieve depth perception were recorded. Latencies decreased across 5 trials in the first session but were somewhat longer at the beginning of the second session than at the end of the first session.

TL;DR: A very serious issue has developed within Marxist anthropology as mentioned in this paper, an issue which is even more important than would appear at first glance, is whether or not exploitation, defined in the Marxist way, has ever existed among peoples in the "hunting and gathering" or "primitive communist" stage of social evolution.
Abstract: A very serious issue has developed within Marxist anthropology an issue which is even more important than would appear at first glance. Ostensibly, the issue is whether or not exploitation, defined in the Marxist way, has ever existed among peoples in the ’hunting and gathering’ or ’primitive communist’ stage of social evolution. The far more consequential issue, however, is a question of epistemology and method whether or not empirical approaches shall be used to test for the existence of this exploitation.
