TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of operational parameters such as dendrimer concentration, contact time, dye concentration, inorganic anions (salts), and pH have been studied on dye removal.
Abstract: This paper deals with the removal of textile dyes from aqueous solutions by a poly(propylene imine) dendrimer (PPI) as a polymeric nanoarchitecture in single and binary (mixture of dyes) systems. Direct Blue 78 (DB78) and Acid Black 26 (AB26) were used as model dyes. The effects of operational parameters such as dendrimer concentration, contact time, dye concentration, inorganic anions (salts), and pH have been studied on dye removal. Adsorption isotherms (Langmuir, Freundlich, and Tempkin models), adsorption kinetics (pseudofirst order, pseudosecond order, and intraparticle diffusion), and dye desorption were studied in single and binary dye systems. It was found that the isotherm data of DB78 and AB26 in single and binary systems of dyes followed the Langmuir isotherm. Adsorption kinetics of dyes in single and binary dye systems were found to conform to a pseudosecond order model. Desorption tests showed that the maximum dye releases of 93 % for DB78 and 86 % for AB26 in a single system and 90 % for DB7...

TL;DR: By considering a filter inductor in the fourth (neutral) leg of the four-leg inverter, a detailed model is presented, which illustrates a strong coupling among different phases and a new deadbeat control scheme is proposed to provide balanced sinusoidal voltages at the output of the inverter.
Abstract: Distributed generation (DG) has been considered as an alternative source of power generation, especially in stand-alone applications, where both single- and three-phase loads must be supplied with fixed amplitude and frequency sinusoidal voltages. Therefore, the presence of the neutral wire is inevitable. A four-leg inverter is a common solution to connect DGs to stand-alone loads as well as providing the neutral wire. In this paper, by considering a filter inductor in the fourth (neutral) leg of the four-leg inverter, a detailed model is presented, which illustrates a strong coupling among different phases. In order to remove this coupling effect, it is proposed to transform the quantities from the abc to the αβγ reference frame. Furthermore, based on the proposed decoupled model, a new deadbeat control scheme is proposed to provide balanced sinusoidal voltages at the output of the inverter. To confirm the effectiveness of the proposed modeling and control techniques, experimental results on a 3-kW setup with the digital-signal-processor-based digital controller are provided under various loading conditions, such as linear/nonlinear, balanced/unbalanced, and single-/three-phase loads.

TL;DR: In this paper, conductive yarns were examined by longitudinal and cross-sectional views, clearly showing the varying levels of penetration of the polymer into the yarn structure, and it was found that for wool yarn, the optimum specific resistance was achieved by using the 400 TPM yarn with a FeCl3 solution concentration of 80 g/L FeCl 3 to produce 1.69 Ω g/cm2.
