TL;DR: In this article, the authors applied inter-layer rolling to the wire+arc additively manufacturing (WAAM) process with increasing loads of 15kN, 30kN and 45kN.
Abstract: Applying inter-layer rolling to the wire+arc additively manufacturing (WAAM) process with increasing loads of 15 kN, 30 kN and 45 kN, achieves excellent mechanical properties for 5087 (Al-Mg4.5-Mn) alloys. Compared with the as-deposited alloy, the average micro hardness, yield stress and ultimate tensile strength of 45 kN rolled alloys reached to 107.2 HV, 240 MPa and 344 MPa, which were enhanced by 40%, 69% and 18.2%, respectively. Primary coarse grain structures were found to become greatly refined with an evident rolling texture after deformation. The strengthening mechanisms mainly are deformation strengthening, grain refinement, and solution strengthening. Meanwhile, the elongation of rolled alloys stays over 20%. The plasticity was not obviously diminished compared with the as-deposited alloy. This is two times greater than the commercial wrought Al-Mg alloy with similar composition. The excellent plasticity may be chiefly due to grain refinement, pores closure and reduction, and grain recrystallization during the WAAM re-heating process. The combination process of rolling deformation with WAAM deposition is an effective technique in refining microstructure and improving mechanical properties for AM aluminum alloys.

TL;DR: In this article, the impact of perceived electronic word of mouth (eWOM) on purchase intention was examined by taking the corporate image as mediating variable, and the results indicated that corporate image mediate the relationship between the independent and dependent variables.
Abstract: The main objective of this research is to examine the impact of perceived electronic word of mouth (eWOM) on purchase intention; by taking the corporate image as mediating variable. This research adopted the customers' views; secondary schools students who are familiar and have an active account on one or more of these social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Instagram). The conceptual framework of this study was tested using data gathered from the questionnaires directed to a total sample of 1000 students located in Amman. The statistical results of the multiple regression test indicated that eWOM quality, eWOM credibility, and eWOM quantity respectively; are significantly and positively impact purchase intention. In terms of the mediating role of corporate image the results indicated that corporate image mediate the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. Accordingly, Research conclusion, recommendations and future research are also discussed.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the relationship between earnings management and characteristics of corporate governance mechanism for a sample of Jordanian non-financial firms during the period 2006-2009 and revealed that the size of board of directors is the only variable that has a significant relation with earnings management.
Abstract: This study examines the relationship between earnings management and characteristics of corporate governance mechanism for a sample of Jordanian non-financial firms during the period 2006-2009. Earnings management is measured by discretionary accruals using Jones models. The characteristics examined are the existence of independence members within the board of directors, the size of the board of directors, the role duality (CEO/chairman), the percentage of insider ownership. In addition, two controlled variables have been employed in this study: size of the company and financial leverage. The results of this study reveal that the size of board of directors is the only variable that has a significant relation with earnings management. The findings of this study have important policy implications since they support encouraging applying corporate governance principles in order to control the behaviors of the board of directors which may lead to distortion in reported financial annual reports. As a result, the reliability and transparency of reported financial statements may be enhanced.

TL;DR: The studies discussed in this review should serve as a solid foundation for researchers and physicians to support basic and clinical studies on melatonin as a promising anticancer agent.
Abstract: Melatonin is a natural indoleamine produced by the pineal gland that has many functions, including regulation of the circadian rhythm. Many studies have reported the anticancer effect of melatonin against a myriad of cancer types. Cancer hallmarks include sustained proliferation, evading growth suppressors, metastasis, replicative immortality, angiogenesis, resisting cell death, altered cellular energetics, and immune evasion. Melatonin anticancer activity is mediated by interfering with various cancer hallmarks. This review summarizes the anticancer role of melatonin in each cancer hallmark. The studies discussed in this review should serve as a solid foundation for researchers and physicians to support basic and clinical studies on melatonin as a promising anticancer agent.
