TL;DR: In this article, a very light gage flat hot dip galvanized strip having a bright unspangled surface is made by applying a very thin zinc coating to smooth cold strip with a surface finish between 20 and 80 microinches by passing the strip at a high rate of speed through a low temperature molten zinc bath having a high aluminum content.
Abstract: A very light gage flat hot dip galvanized strip having a bright unspangled surface, is made by applying a very thin zinc coating to smooth cold strip having a surface finish between 20 and 80 microinches by passing the strip at a high rate of speed through a low temperature molten zinc bath having a high aluminum content and wiping the strip quickly by means of powerful steam wiper dies located closely adjacent to both the strip and bath surfaces.

TL;DR: The thermal efficiency of an ammonia still is significantly increased by the use of an auxiliary inert gas stripping medium initially heated and humidified by passage through a heat exchanger together with hot still bottoms derived from the still as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: The thermal efficiency of an ammonia still is significantly increased by the use, in conjunction with the usual countercurrent steam stripping medium, of an auxiliary inert gas stripping medium initially heated and humidified by passage through a heat exchanger together with hot still bottoms derived from the still.

TL;DR: In this paper, a video output signal processor with a simple computing element was proposed to improve the apparent resolution of a video camera by a factor of 10 and more. This is enough to widen the range of measurement applications for these cameras.
Abstract: The low resolution of state-of-the-art solid-state video cameras with quantized image arrays has limited their usefulness in high-accuracy dimension measurement systems. A video output signal processor with a simple computing element improves the apparent resolution of these cameras by a factor of 10 and more. This is enough to widen the range of measurement applications for these cameras.
