15 Nov 1967TL;DR: A STEEL SHEET, COATED with an Alloy of AlUMINUM and CHROMIUM or TITANIUM, for use as a CONTAINER for BEER is described in this paper.
Abstract: A STEEL SHEET, COATED WITH AN ALLOY OF ALUMINUM AND CHROMIUM OR TITANIUM, FOR USE AS A CONTAINER FOR BEER. THE COATING COMPOSITION IS SELECTED SO THAT ANY GALVANIC CURRENT BETWEEN THE STEEL AND THE COATING IS MINIMAL.

03 Oct 2002TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a method for operating a steelmaking furnace, including the steps of charging steelmaking materials into the steelmaking furnaces, blowing oxygen into the furnace, discontinuing the oxygen blow when the charged steel making materials are reduced to a liquid steel product, determining the temperature of the finished liquid steel products, blowing a nitrogen gas coolant into the boiler, and tapping the product at the aim tapping temperature for downstream processing.
Abstract: The invention is directed to a method for operating a steelmaking furnace including the steps of charging steelmaking materials into the steelmaking furnace, blowing oxygen into the steelmaking furnace, discontinuing the oxygen blow when the charged steelmaking materials are reduced to a liquid steel product, determining the temperature of the finished liquid steel product, blowing a nitrogen gas coolant into the steelmaking furnace to reduce the temperature of the finished liquid steel product to an aim tapping temperature, discontinuing the nitrogen gas coolant blow when the finished liquid steel product temperature is lowered to the aim tapping temperature, and tapping the finished liquid steel product at the aim tapping temperature for downstream processing.

24 May 1973TL;DR: In this article, a method and device for charging and supporting containerized reagents within a plunging bell was proposed, where the reagents were placed within the bell and supported by a support member depending from the sidewalls of the plunging Bell and extending across the bottom opening.
Abstract: A method and device for charging and supporting containerized reagents within a plunging bell including positioning the reagents within a plunging bell and supporting the reagents with a support member depending from the sidewalls of the plunging bell and extending across the bottom opening beneath the sidewalls of the plunging bell.

01 Jan 1967TL;DR: In this article, a two-phase flow stream is considered and the determination of pressure drop for a single-phase flowing inside pipes is well established, with an accuracy of within ±15%.
Abstract: The simultaneous flow of liquid and vapor occurs in liquefaction plants. Because of the interaction of the phases with one another and the reduction of flow area for each phase, the pressure drop in a two-phase flow stream is considerably higher than the single-phase pressure drop. The determination of pressure drop for a single-phase flowing inside pipes is well established. There are several methods which enable prediction of pressure drop to well within ±15% [1,7,9].
