Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, a method for the synthesis of 4-hydroxy-3-prenyl-2-quinolones, which have been recognised as precursors to prenyl-, furo- and pyranoquinoline alkaloids of the Rutaceae, is described.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the problem of multiple-deferred state MDS-1(0, 2) sampling plans indexed by Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) and Limiting Quality Level(LQL) is discussed.
Abstract: Designing multiple-deferred state MDS-1(0, 2) sampling plans indexed by Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) and Limiting Quality Level (LQL) is discussed. Tables are presented using which, one can select MDS-1 (0, 2) plan involving minimum risks.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, sufficient conditions for the controllability of perturbations of nonlinear systems with distributed delays in the control variables were derived by using Schauder's fixed-point theorem.
Abstract: Sufficient conditions are derived for the relative controllability of perturbations of nonlinear systems with distributed delays in the control variables. The results are a generalization of previous results and are obtained by using Schauder's fixed-point theorem.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the maximum likelihood estimate of the age of the Galton-Watson process, when X 1 has the binomial distribution, was obtained, and for some given observations, the estimated age was evaluated.
Abstract: In this paper the maximum likelihood estimate of the age of the galton-watson process, when X1 has the binomial distribution is obtained. furthermore, for some given observations the maximum likelihood estimates of the age of the process are evaluated

TL;DR: In this article, a set of tables is presented enabling one to design multiple (Group sequential) sampling plans when various entry parameters are given, and a table yielding item by item sequential sampling plans indexed by (AQL, AOQL) is also presented.

TL;DR: In this paper, the toxicity of metals and inorganics to different fish species in the aquatic medium depend much on water quality and static bioassy tests were conducted using con mercial grade zinc sulphate (ZnSO, 7 HO) to study the toxic effects on hard waters.
Abstract: The toxicity of metals and inorganics to different fish species in the aquatic medium depend much on water quality. Static bioassy tests were conducted using con mercial grade zinc sulphate (ZnSO, 7 HO) to study the toxic effects on hard waters. The sublethal concentrations of zinc on the common fresh water food fish S. mossambicus in three water samples of varying hardness were calculated. The sublethal concentration was 2.5 mg/Zn/l; 5.5 mg/Zn/l and 17 mg Zn/l with various samples having hardness of 32 mg/l; 192 in gll and 320 mg/l as CaCO.
