TL;DR: In this article, the structural and micro-structural properties of the V2O5 films were analyzed using XRD and Raman scattering measurements using Nelson-Riely plots, and various structural parameters such as lattice constants, grain size and microstrain and dislocation density were determined and the influence of deposition temperature on the structural parameters were discussed.

TL;DR: The in vitro cytotoxicity of these complexes evaluated by the MTT assay on a panel of cancer and normal cell lines indicated that the above complexes are more toxic to cancer cells with a few micromolar concentrations as the IC50 value, but are significantly less toxic tonormal cell lines.
Abstract: Synthesis, spectral, electrochemical and single crystal X-ray diffraction data of a new series of DMSO containing bivalent ruthenium hydrazone complexes are presented. XRD data of two of the new complexes revealed an octahedral coordination around the ruthenium ion satisfied by NOS2Cl2 atoms. Electrochemical studies showed the metal centred, quasi-reversible, one-electron redox behaviour of the new complexes. The binding of these complexes with biomolecules such as calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) protein investigated by different spectrophotometric methods revealed an intercalative mode of interaction. The in vitro cytotoxicity of these complexes evaluated by the MTT assay on a panel of cancer and normal cell lines indicated that the above complexes are more toxic to cancer cells with a few micromolar concentrations as the IC50 value, but are significantly less toxic to normal cell lines. The observed variations in the binding interactions and cytotoxicity of the complexes were attributed to the nature of the hydrazide moiety of the hydrazones that influences their biological activities.

TL;DR: In this paper, sufficient conditions for controllability of nonlinear integrodifferential systems in a Banach space were established using the Schauder fixed-point theorem, and the results were obtained using the fixed point theorem.

TL;DR: The results show that ED in the σ(*) and π(*) antibonding orbitals and second order delocalization energies E(2) confirm the occurrence of intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) within the molecule.

TL;DR: Three Indian tribal pulses, Bauhinia purpurea L, B racemosa Lamk and B vahlii W and A, were analysed for pod morphology, proximate composition, seed protein fractions, amino acid composition, minerals and antinutritional factors.
Abstract: Three Indian tribal pulses, Bauhinia purpurea L, B racemosa Lamk and B vahlii W and A, were analysed for pod morphology, proximate composition, seed protein fractions, amino acid composition, minerals and antinutritional factors. The seeds of B purpurea and B vahlii contained higher contents of crude protein and crude lipid than those of B racemosa resulting in higher energy values for these two pulses. The seeds of B purpurea were rich in K, whereas those of B racemosa and B vahlii were rich in Ca and Fe. Albumins and globulins constituted the predominant fractions of the seed proteins in B purpurea and B vahlii whereas glutelins predominated in B racemosa. In all three species the contents of the essential amino acids lysine, tyrosine and phenylalanine were fairly high; the contents of sulphur amino acids were limiting. Isoleucine and leucine were limiting only in B vahlii proteins. Levels of the antinutritional factors investigated, free phenols, tannins, L-DOPA, and haemagglutinating and trypsin inhibitor activities were not particularly high.
