TL;DR: In this paper, intensive melt shearing was applied to the commercial AZ91D alloy melt to investigate its effects on grain refinement, and the results showed that intensive melting resulted in significant refinement of both the Al 8 Mn 5 intermetallics and the primary α -Mg phase in the as-cast AZ91d alloy.

TL;DR: The result revealed that perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), subjective norms (SN) and Quality of Work Life (QWL) positively affect students' behavioural intention (BI), and it is found that experience moderates the relationship between PEOU, PU and SN on e-learning use intention, and that age difference moderates the effects ofPEOU, SN and QWL on BI.

TL;DR: The empirical evidence and discussion presented in the study can help the government to improve upon and fully utilise the potential of the OPGRS as a useful tool toward a transparent and corruption free country.
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to examine the success (by measuring intention to use and user satisfaction) of the online public grievance redressal system (OPGRS) from the perspective of the citizens of India. The success of this e-government system is examined using an integrated IS success model. The model developed includes the constructs such as system quality, information quality, service quality, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived satisfaction, perceived risk, and behavioral intention. The proposed integrated research model of IS was validated using the response taken from 419 citizens from different cities of India. The empirical outcomes provided the positive significant connections between all 12 hypothesised relationships between eight constructs. The empirical evidence and discussion presented in the study can help the government to improve upon and fully utilise the potential of the OPGRS as a useful tool toward a transparent and corruption free country.

TL;DR: There is preliminary evidence that periods of chronic confinement stress experienced during the final stages of reproductive development not only disrupt the reproductive endocrinology of trout, but also result in reduced egg size in rainbow trout and significantly lower survival rates for progeny from both stressed brown and rainbow trout compared to progenyFrom unstressed controls.

TL;DR: In this paper, a comparison between 38 mature and 60 non-mature students taking the same course found that the mature students obtained significantly higher scores on meaning orientation, and that they also tended to produce lower scores on reproducing orientation.
Abstract: Mature students are often said to be deficient in study skills, but a recent literature review by Richardson concluded that they tended to exhibit more desirable approaches to learning. Using a shortened form of the Approaches to Studying Inventory, a comparison between 38 mature and 60 non-mature students taking the same course found indeed that the mature students obtained significantly higher scores on meaning orientation, and that they also tended to produce lower scores on reproducing orientation. In addition, in terms of both their persistence and their attainment, the subsequent academic performance of the mature students on their degree courses was at least as good as that of the non-mature students.
