TL;DR: In this paper, a precursor composition for the deposition and formation of an electrical feature such as a conductive feature was proposed, which advantageously has a low viscosity enabling deposition using direct write tools.
Abstract: A precursor composition for the deposition and formation of an electrical feature such as a conductive feature. The precursor composition advantageously has a low viscosity enabling deposition using direct-write tools. The precursor composition also has a low conversion temperature, enabling the deposition and conversion to an electrical feature on low temperature substrates. A particularly preferred precursor composition includes silver metal for the formation of highly conductive silver features.

TL;DR: In this article, a variety of elastomers and formulations employing such elastomer are contemplated and disclosed, and methods for preparing elastoms compounded with the treated carbon black are also disclosed.
Abstract: Disclosed are elastomeric compounds including an elastomer and a silicon-treated carbon black, and optionally including a coupling agent. The elastomeric compound exhibits poorer abrasion resistance in the absence of a coupling agent, lower hysteresis at high temperature and comparable or increased hysteresis at low temperature compared to an elastomer containing an untreated carbon black. A variety of elastomers and formulations employing such elastomers are contemplated and disclosed. Elastomeric compounds incorporating an elastomer and an oxidized, silicon-treated carbon black are also disclosed. Also disclosed are methods for preparing elastomers compounded with the treated carbon black.

TL;DR: In this article, a method for making oxygen-containing phosphor powders is described. But the method of the invention advantageously permits the continuous production of such powders and is not suitable for use in display devices.
Abstract: The invention relates to phosphor powders and a method for making phosphor powders. The powders are oxygen-containing, such as metal oxides, borates or titanates and have a small particle size, narrow particle size distribution and are substantially spherical. The method of the invention advantageously permits the continuous production of such powders. The invention also relates to improved devices, such as display devices, incorporating those shown by the figure, incorporating the phosphor powders.

TL;DR: In this article, a process for preparing a carbon black product having an organic group attached to the carbon black is described, which may be prepared according to process of the invention and uses of such carbon black products in plastic compositions, rubber compositions, paper compositions and textile compositions.
Abstract: Processes for preparing a carbon black product having an organic group attached to the carbon black. In one process at least one diazonium salt reacts with a carbon black in the absence of an externally applied electric current sufficient to reduce the diazonium salt. In another process at least one diazonium salt reacts with a carbon black in a protic reaction medium. Carbon black products which may be prepared according to process of the invention are described as well as uses of such carbon black products in plastic compositions, rubber compositions, paper compositions, and textile compositions.

TL;DR: In this article, an aqueous ink jet ink composition comprising an annealing vehicle and a carbon black product having attached at least one organic group was presented. But the organic group is directly attached to the carbon black by an alkyl group.
Abstract: There is disclosed an aqueous ink jet ink composition comprising an aqueous vehicle and a carbon black product having attached at least one organic group. The organic group comprises a) at least one aromatic group and b) at least one ionic group, at least one ionizable group, or a mixture of an ionic group and an ionizable group. The organic group is directly attached to the carbon black by an aromatic group. Also disclosed is an aqueous ink jet ink composition comprising an aqueous vehicle and a carbon black product having attached at least one organic group. The organic group comprisies a) at least one C 1 -C 12 alkyl group group and b) at least one ionic group, at least one ionizable group, or a mixture of an ionic group and an ionizable group. The organic group is directly attached to the carbon black by an alkyl group. Ink jet recording methods applying an ink jet ink of the present invention are also described.
