TL;DR: In this article, the Laguerre collocation method was used to approximate high-order nonlinear ordinary differential equations with the initial and boundary conditions, and the results of the proposed method were compared with the existing results in literature.
Abstract: In this study, we consider high-order nonlinear ordinary differential equations with the initial and boundary conditions. These kinds of differential equations are essential tools for modelling problems in physics, biology, neurology, engineering, ecology, economy, astrophysics, physiology and so forth. Each of the mentioned problems are described by one of the following equations with the specific physical conditions: Riccati, Duffing, EmdenFowler, Lane Emden type equations. We seek the approximate solution of these special differential equations by means of a operational matrix technique, called the Laguerre collocation method. The proposed method is based on the Laguerre series expansion and the collocation points. By using the method, the mentioned special differential equations together with conditions are transformed into a matrix form which corresponds to a system of nonlinear algebraic equations with unknown Laguerre coefficients, and thereby the problem is approximately solved in terms of Laguerre polynomials. In addition, some numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method and the obtained results are compared with the existing results in literature.

TL;DR: Low level of education, unplanned pregnancy, lack of social support and pregnancy-related physical symptoms were found to be the most important risk factors for antenatal depression.
Abstract: Objective To assess the prevalence and associated risk factors for antenatal depression. Methods From April to September 2011, a total of 651 pregnant women who had no chronic diseases, were at low risk for obstetric complications and who had no diagnosed depression before pregnancy were recruited for interview at Merkez Efendi Hospital, Maternal and Child out-patient department in western Turkey. The evaluation of depression was scored according to the Beck Depression Inventory. Statistical analysis was carried out using Chi-square, Fisher exact, t test and stepwise multiple regression analyses. Result Of the total, 71 (10.9%) women scored > or = 17 on the inventory. Low level of education, unplanned pregnancy, lack of social support and pregnancy-related physical symptoms were found to be the most important risk factors for antenatal depression. Conclusion Early identification and treatment of antenatal depression may improve pregnancy outcomes, and healthcare providers need to be sensitive to the risk factors for depression and strengthen the women's skills in coping with stress to improve their emotional health.

TL;DR: The combination of AT-101 with cisplatin may hold great promise for development as a novel chemotherapeutic approach to overcome platinum-resistance in human ovarian cancer.
Abstract: We investigated the effects of AT-101/cisplatin combination treatment on the expression levels of apoptotic proteins and epigenetic events such as DNA methyltransferase (DNMT) and histone deacetylase (HDAC) enzyme activities in OVCAR-3 and MDAH-2774 ovarian cancer cells. XTT cell viability assay was used to evaluate cytotoxicity. For showing apoptosis, both DNA Fragmentation and caspase 3/7 activity measurements were performed. The expression levels of apoptotic proteins were assessed by human apoptosis antibody array. DNMT and HDAC activities were evaluated by ELISA assay and mRNA levels of DNMT1 and HDAC1 genes were quantified by qRT-PCR. Combination of AT-101/cisplatin resulted in strong synergistic cytotoxicity and apoptosis in human ovarian cancer cells. Combination treatment reduced some pivotal anti-apoptotic proteins such as Bcl-2, HIF-1A, cIAP-1, XIAP in OVCAR-3 cells, whereas p21, Bcl-2, cIAP-1, HSP27, Clusterin and XIAP in MDAH-2774 cells. Among the pro-apoptotic proteins, Bad, Bax, Fas, phospho-p53 (S46), Cleaved caspase-3, SMAC/Diablo, TNFR1 and Cytochrome c were induced in OVCAR-3 cells, whereas, Bax, TRAILR2, FADD, p27, phospho-p53 (S46), Cleaved caspase-3, Cytochrome c, SMAC/Diablo and TNFR1 were induced in MDAH-2774 cells. Combination treatment also inhibited both DNMT and HDAC activities and also mRNA levels in both ovarian cancer cells. AT-101 exhibits great potential in sensitization of human ovarian cancer cells to cisplatin treatment in vitro, suggesting that the combination of AT-101 with cisplatin may hold great promise for development as a novel chemotherapeutic approach to overcome platinum-resistance in human ovarian cancer.

TL;DR: In this article, a study of meson production at LHCb is performed on proton-proton collision data, corresponding to 3.0fb$-1}$ of integrated luminosity collected at centre-of-mass energies between 7$ and 8TeV.
Abstract: A study of $\chi_{b}$ meson production at LHCb is performed on proton-proton collision data, corresponding to 3.0fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity collected at centre-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}=7$ and 8TeV. The fraction of $\Upsilon(nS)$ mesons originating from $\chi_{b}$ decays is measured as a function of the $\Upsilon$ transverse momentum in the rapidity range $2.0 < y^{\Upsilon} < 4.5$. The radiative transition of the $\chi_{b}(3P)$ meson to $\Upsilon(3S)$ is observed for the first time. The $\chi_{b1}(3P)$ mass is determined to be $$m(\chi_{b1}(3P)) = 10\,511.3 \pm 1.7 \pm 2.5 MeV/c^2,$$ where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic.
