TL;DR: In this paper, a bibliometric analysis of Russian scientists' collaboration in the sphere of carbon nanostructures, a major trend in nanotechnology, is presented, showing that international coauthorship significantly increases the citation of Russian publications, while purely Russian coauthored publications are cited even less frequently, on average, than single-author publications.
Abstract: This article provides bibliometric analysis of Russian scientists’ collaboration in the sphere of carbon nanostructures, a major trend in nanotechnology. In particular, it is shown that international coauthorship significantly increases the citation of Russian publications, while purely Russian coauthored publications are cited even less frequently, on average, than single-author publications. The initial information for analysis was taken from the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) database.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a short-term macroeconomic indicator, the index of monetary efficiency, which is an aggregate of two subindices, i.e., monetary stability and monetary freedom.
Abstract: This article has presented a short-term macroeconomic indicator, the index of monetary efficiency, which is an aggregate of two subindices, i.e., monetary stability and monetary freedom. An econometric model has been constructed, in which the GDP depends on the index of monetary efficiency with a lag of 8 months, which allows for the proactive prediction of economic growth. All analytical tools have been evaluated based on the statistical data of the Bank of Russia with a monthly breakdown.

TL;DR: A pyroelectric sensor circuit arrangement for reducing noise and increasing sensitivity has a main current amplifier with a high feedback resistor connected to receive input from an electrode of a pyro electric element, and includes a compensation amplifier in a unity gain amplifier configuration connected to a common power source with the main amplifier.
Abstract: We consider a risky economic project that may yield either profits or losses, depending on random events. We study an insurance mechanism under which the plan of project implementation maximizing the expected value of profits becomes optimal almost surely. The mechanism is linear in the decision variables, “actuarially fair” and robust to changes in the utility function.

TL;DR: A parallel algorithm for computing a solution in a multiregion dynamic general equilibrium model based on an iterative method of the Gauss–Seidel type and exploits a special block structure of the model is developed and analyzed.
Abstract: We develop and analyze a parallel algorithm for computing a solution in a multiregion dynamic general equilibrium model. The algorithm is based on an iterative method of the Gauss–Seidel type and exploits a special block structure of the model. Calculation of prices and input-output ratios in production for different time steps is carried out in parallel. We implement the parallel algorithm using the OpenMP interface for systems with shared memory. The efficiency of the algorithm is studied with the numbers of cores varying in the full range from one to the number of time steps of the model.

04 Jul 2021TL;DR: In this paper, an optimal stopping problem for one-dimensional Ito diffusion process and terminal payoff function is studied under what conditions the stopping time of the Ito process is optimal.
Abstract: The paper deals with an optimal stopping problem for one-dimensional Ito diffusion process and terminal payoff function. We study the following problem: under what conditions the stopping time whic...
