TL;DR: The anatomy of the articular surfaces and their movement in the normal tibio-femoral joint, together with methods of measurement in volunteers are described, and methods of depicting these movements which are understandable to engineers and clinicians are discussed.

TL;DR: In this paper, four LEP collaborations, ALEPH, DELPHI, L3 and OPAL, have searched for the neutral Higgs bosons which are predicted by the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM).
Abstract: The four LEP collaborations, ALEPH, DELPHI, L3 and OPAL, have searched for the neutral Higgs bosons which are predicted by the Minimal Supersymmetric standard model (MSSM). The data of the four collaborations are statistically combined and examined for their consistency with the background hypothesis and with a possible Higgs boson signal. The combined LEP data show no significant excess of events which would indicate the production of Higgs bosons. The search results are used to set upper bounds on the cross-sections of various Higgs-like event topologies. The results are interpreted within the MSSM in a number of “benchmark” models, including CP-conserving and CP-violating scenarios. These interpretations lead in all cases to large exclusions in the MSSM parameter space. Absolute limits are set on the parameter cosβ and, in some scenarios, on the masses of neutral Higgs bosons.

TL;DR: The case when enough data paths can be generated according to an accepted parametric or nonparametric stochastic model when no assumptions on convexity with respect to the random parameters are required is discussed.
Abstract: A major issue in any application of multistage stochastic programming is the representation of the underlying random data process. We discuss the case when enough data paths can be generated according to an accepted parametric or nonparametric stochastic model. No assumptions on convexity with respect to the random parameters are required. We emphasize the notion of representative scenarios (or a representative scenario tree) relative to the problem being modeled.

TL;DR: This paper used a collisional evolution code to track the evolution of the main belt over 4.6 Gyr and found that only a small fraction of the fragments survived the dynamical depletion event described above.

TL;DR: The observation of two narrow structures in the mass spectra of the π(±)Υ(nS) and π (±)h(b)(mP) pairs that are produced in association with a single charged pion in Υ(5S) decays is reported.
Abstract: We report the observation of two narrow structures in the mass spectra of the pi(+/-) Y(nS) (n = 1, 2, 3) and pi(+/-) h(b)(mP) (m = 1, 2) pairs that are produced in association with a single charged pion in Y(5S) decays The measured masses and widths of the two structures averaged over the five final states are M-1 = (10 6072 +/- 20) MeV/c(2), Gamma(1) =(184 +/- 24) MeV, and M-2 = (10 6522 +/- 15) MeV/c(2), Gamma(2) = (115 +/- 22) MeV The results are obtained with a 1214 fb(-1) data sample collected with the Belle detector in the vicinity of the Y(5S) resonance at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider
