TL;DR: A machine learning based system that can classify Bangla texts into suspicious and non-suspicious categories is proposed and logistic regression algorithm is used for classification task.
Abstract: Suspicious Bangla text detection is a text classification problem of determining Bangla texts into suspicious and non suspicious categories. In this paper, we have proposed a machine learning based system that can classify Bangla texts into suspicious and non-suspicious. For this purpose, a corpus is developed and logistic regression algorithm is used for classification task. In order to measure the effectiveness of the proposed system a comparison of accuracy among other algorithms such as Naive Bayes, SVM, KNN, and decision tree also performed. The experimental result with 1500 training documents and 500 testing documents shows that the logistic regression provides the highest accuracy (92%) than other algorithms.

TL;DR: In this paper, an analysis of metallic elements and natural radioactivity in soils collected from two shipyards and their surroundings in Chittagong, Bangladesh is presented, where the elemental concentrations of the metals Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni and Cu were obtained by PIXE analysis with a 3'MV Tandem Accelerator, and the radioactivity of 226Ra, 232Th and 40K was determined using HPGe gamma-ray spectrometry.
Abstract: Abstract An analysis of metallic elements and natural radioactivity in soils collected from two shipyards and their surroundings in Chittagong, Bangladesh is presented. The elemental concentrations of the metals Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni and Cu were obtained by PIXE analysis with a 3 MV Tandem Accelerator, and the radioactivity of 226Ra, 232Th and 40K was determined using HPGe gamma-ray spectrometry. From the mean specific activities of the three radionuclides in soil samples, the radium equivalent activity, the gamma absorbed dose rate, the annual effective dose rate and the external hazard index were calculated. The study was focused on investigation of soil contamination via shipbreaking activities, if any. The somewhat higher contents of Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni and Cu in soil samples of shipyards, as compared to other locations, seem to be caused by the shipbreaking activities. The specific radioactivities as well as radium equivalent activity in soils of shipyards are also higher and thus possibly an indirect result of shipbreaking activities.

TL;DR: An automatic irrigation control system has been designed with sensors, solar panels, fast charger, and battery, which works automatically and manually and makes a country self-sufficient in the food section.
Abstract: In daily operations related to farming or gardening, watering is the most important cultural practice. Especially in rice cultivation huge amount of water is used. In conventional method continuous standing water is kept above paddy field during whole growing period of rice crop, though it is not necessary to keep continuous standing water in the field. The alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) irrigation systems are a modern technology which saves water as well as increases crop yield. This AWD is being practiced manually in Bangladesh. This proposed model aims to make the AWD irrigation system into automated AWD irrigation system. However huge amount of electric power and fuel are being consumed by irrigation system in the country. The other aims of the proposed model are use of renewable energy instead of electric and fuel energy to save and secure future resources. To fulfil the country's feed, enhance the economy and develop availability of water automation in AWD is an essential requirement. Smart irrigation system occupies an exact amount of water at the correct location. It saves time and decreases hard work. It also makes a country self-sufficient in the food section. The traditional watering system is long time consumed where automation in AWD mitigate the time duration. It can also sense the weather behavior. During the rainy season it checks the possibility of rain and acts like that with help of the multi-level sensors. So, it can improve production efficiency as well. For this reason, an automatic irrigation control system has been designed with sensors, solar panels, fast charger, and battery. The sensors detect the dynamic water above and below ground surface. All this set up is controlled by Arduino microcontroller. Online Wi-fi ESP8266 module is used to control automated online monitoring to get feedback from sensors. A fast charger is used as back up part in AWD method. This whole circuit is more efficient and works automatically and manually.

TL;DR: Experiments show that the proposed edge-segment based tracking algorithm can track moving objects efficiently under varying illumination conditions.
Abstract: In this paper, an edge based tracking algorithm is proposed. Our algorithm makes efficient use of edge-segment on the Canny edge map by utilizing the edge structure in the moving object region. Curvature-based features are used for moving edge registration. We use the maximum curvature correspondences between two edge segments then the 2D affine transformation computes their movement by solving a system of linear equations. The registration error is then minimized. A Kalman Filter is used to track each individual edge segments. Segments are clustered using a k-mean algorithm. Finally, a group motion tracker is used for tracking moving object from each cluster. Experiments show that our edge-segment based tracking algorithm can track moving objects efficiently under varying illumination conditions.

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of variation of concentration of metal and ligand ions, variation of scan rate and step height on the performance of a cyclic voltammetry (CV) on a Glassy Carbon Electrode was investigated.
Abstract: Voltammetric behaviors of Copper (II) nitrogen bearing nucleobases, such as Guanine (C5H4N5O2) was studied in electro analyzer using cyclic voltammetry (CV) on a Glassy Carbon Electrode. Assessment of the chemical and physical conditions that may favor optimum current enhancement was done by studying the effect of variation of concentration of metal and ligand ions, variation of scan rate, variation of step height, variation of pH values, and variation of supporting electrolyte as (NH4)2SO4, KCl, and NaCl. It was observed that Copper and Guanine forms a 1 : 2 ratio complex. The work reflects that increasing the concentration of either metal ion or ligand ion increases the corresponding current. Increasing the scan rate increases the corresponding current linearly with the square root of the scan rate. As the step height decreases the peaks become sharp. Anodic and cathodic current increases linearly with decreasing step height. For the complex mixture the complexation occurs maximum at a pH of 2.3–7.0 and is badly restricted in the slightly alkaline medium and the complexing order of the supporting electrolyte showed a trend as .
