Abstract: Economy of a country greatly depends on the stock market sector. People may gain profit by proper investments in stock markets or may lose their entire life savings by wrong investments. Previously, the world has witnessed many stock markets disaster, crippling economic condition of an entire nation. Bangladesh also faced similar situation in the near past. This can be avoided if the market can be predicted in advance. By this prediction, a broker may be able to find some irregularities which may alert them in advance. Also, the stock market prediction can be a useful tool for the market regulatory committee. This prediction may help them to take necessary steps to avoid potentially harmful transactions. In this paper, we propose a model for stock market prediction based on large amount of historical data and machine learning approach. For the experimental purpose, we have collected data from two of the Bangladeshi stock exchanges: Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE). To perform this task, we have applied web crawling to crawl data from source web sites and applied data parsing to get desired data for training our system. Finally, linear regression approach of machine learning was used to get the prediction for individual stock securities.

Abstract: Nowadays, Power crisis is one of the greatest problems of Bangladesh. Most of the electricity produced in Bangladesh is based on non-renewable energy resources. The reserve of Natural resources or non-renewable energy sources such as: fossil fuels, oil, natural gas etc are limited. So this is the time to search such a system where the residential areas of Bangladesh become Energy Neutral. This paper demonstrates such a system in which an Energy Neutral Home (ENH) is designed and implemented for rural areas of Bangladesh. The designed system is able to meet the energy requirement with renewable energy resources without taking any electricity from grid. In this research, biogas is used as primary renewable energy source for the generation of electricity.

Abstract: Two bi-directional switch based three-phase buck AC voltage controller is presented in this paper. The operational principle of the proposed three-phase regulator is a direct consequence of using two three-phase bi-directional switches in the buck converter topology. The converter works on per phase basis and therefore three phase output voltages remain same in case of load unbalance. The topology has reduced number of switches for a three-phase AC voltage control having output voltage regulation, input current shaping and power factor improvement capability. Reduced number of switches allows simple control circuit, less switching loss, reliable operation and low cost. Steady state analysis and simulation results of open and closed loop control of the proposed converter are presented in this paper. The voltage mode feedback control method used for controlling the regulator shows acceptable regulation of the converter output voltage. During sudden variation of load or input voltage the controller adjusts the duty cycle to recover to the desired output voltage.
