TL;DR: An interactive generalized keyboard driver for Bengali Braille Embosser that serves the user to edit the written text without help of visual person and makes a visually impaired person independent of writing and reading.
Abstract: Bengali Braille Embosser is a very essential device for learning of visually impaired person in Bangladesh. This paper presents an interactive generalized keyboard driver for Bengali Braille Embosser. This driver is operated by single AVR microcontroller. It can interface any PC keyboard through PS2 interface protocol with the Braille Embosser. The driver is interactive and can communicate with visually impaired person by generating sound of Bengali alphabet after pressing related key of the keyboard. In this paper the Bijoy keyboard layout is used. This driver can stores the written text in memory (micro SD card) and playback the sound of the text also. The designed device supports 16 GB of micro SD storage. This keyboard driver serves the user to edit the written text without help of visual person. So, this device makes a visually impaired person independent of writing and reading. At the same time the device makes Braille code from the written text for printing the Braille text on the Braille paper.

TL;DR: An IoT based heart disease detection system using a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) and Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm that can perform the diagnosis of heart disease using RNN.
Abstract: With the growing social pressure, most people are facing health problems and most of these are causing because of frequent heart attacks. It is very important to design an effective system that can diagnose the forthcoming happening of heart attacks or atrial fibrillations. As IoT (Internet of Things) is the most emerging and prominent technology in the modern era, a combination of the personal computer and IoT has become very efficient technology. The combined system provides various features to the user such as in emergencies to detect heart disease possibility through symptoms, sending messages to doctors according to the stage of the possibility of disease, and helps in fixing it. In case of an emergency, the system sends an emergency report to the desired doctor. In this paper, we propose an IoT based heart disease detection system using a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN). In our approach, we use Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm. The proposed system can perform the diagnosis of heart disease using RNN. The developed system helps the physician to prescribe patients without being present physically. The estimation of the result claims that the proposed system can detect heart disease efficiently.

TL;DR: The main purpose of this paper is to design an energy management strategy to optimize the cost and minimize the power loss of extracted power from renewable energy sources based on Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC).
Abstract: This paper represents an optimization method as well as energy management strategy of grid connected renewable energy sources for multi house. Optimization method has been accomplished using HOMER software to bring out optimal size of renewable sources and other components for management strategy. The main purpose of this paper is to design an energy management strategy to optimize the cost and minimize the power loss of extracted power from renewable energy sources based on Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC). The system consists of PV array, AC wind generator, Battery, Converter and grid. FLC monitors load profile and delivers a signal to sources. Then FLC changes the switch for appropriate energy supply according to fuzzy rules. The management strategy is controlled by FLC in a way that extra power after meeting the energy demand of the house can be sold to the national grid which is more useful and cost feasible than any other conventional systems. The proposed management strategy is more effective than any other traditional systems which must minimize power loss.

TL;DR: A microstrip patch antenna operating at K band (18 GHz to 27 GHz) for satellite applications is designed in this paper and shows impressive results which are suitable for satellite communications.
Abstract: Microstrip patch antennas which have the multiplicity of features are receiving attention for satellite applications nowadays. A microstrip patch antenna operating at K band (18 GHz to 27 GHz) for satellite applications is designed in this paper. The antenna has been designed with CST Microwave Studio Suite software. The miniaturized antenna shows impressive results which are suitable for satellite communications. To implement the antenna for satellite application, prerequisites such as low return loss, high bandwidth, gain, far-field radiation are accomplished here. All the performance parameters are utilized to operate the antenna in K-band. The simulation data show satisfactory results for the above-mentioned applications.

TL;DR: A new class of adjustable window function, based on combination of tangent hyperbolic function and a weighted cosine series, is proposed, which yields better ripple ratio and side-lobe roll-off ratio than the above named windows.
Abstract: A new class of adjustable window function, based on combination of tangent hyperbolic function and a weighted cosine series, is proposed The proposed window is adjustable in the sense that by changing its controlling parameter, one can change not only its shape but also its spectral characteristics The spectral characteristic of the proposed window is studied and its performance is compared with Dolph-Chebyshev, Gaussian and Kaiser Windows Simulation results show that the proposed window yields better ripple ratio and side-lobe roll-off ratio than the above named windows Moreover, the paper represents the application of the proposed window in finite impulse response (FIR) filter design The results confirm that the filter designed by the proposed window provides better spectral characteristics than Kaiser window This paper also highlights an application of the proposed Filtering method in the area of eliminating noise from corrupted ECG signal
