TL;DR: In this paper, a triple-band multi-antenna system with four elements to cover 3.3-6 GHz in the future 5G smartphone applications is proposed, which consists of four feeding elements and four T-shaped radiating elements.
Abstract: A triple band multi-antenna system with four elements to cover 3.3-6 GHz in the future 5G smartphone applications is proposed. The presented antenna consists of four feeding elements and four T-shaped radiating elements which have operability in 3.3-4.2 GHz (n77), 4.8-5 GHz & 5.1-5.9 GHz range. For 3.3-4.2 GHz (n77) & 4.8-5 GHz, the antenna is fit for 5G new radio (NR) application while for 5.1-5.9 GHz, the antenna performance is suitable for WLAN application. The antenna is simulated which can be placed on the inner surface of the side-edge frame of the smartphone. The proposed MIMO antenna has better isolations (less than -20 dB), efficiency (62-80%) and their envelope correlation coefficient (ECC) is much less than 0.1 in the operating band. The peak gain of the antenna is 5.5 dBi. The proposed MIMO antenna will be promising for future 5G smartphone applications.

TL;DR: A device is implemented for Bengali speaking visually handicapped people by taking image of the reading materials, extracting words from the image and converting those words to sound, so by hearing that text converted sound they can understand what is written on that paper.
Abstract: A reading device is a compact hardware setup with necessary programmes coded in it which read out printed documents like a human reader. People having eyesight problem can't read books, papers or any kind of printed reading materials. This problem can be solved simply by taking image of the reading materials, extracting words from the image and converting those words to sound, so by hearing that text converted sound they can understand what is written on that paper. A device is implemented for Bengali speaking visually handicapped people. For character recognition tesseract-ocr is used as optical character recognition(OCR) engine. Python gTTS module, a text to speech engine is used to convert the words extracted by tesseract-ocr to sound. Whole process is implemented on Raspberry Pi based a compact hardware design. Accuracy of character detection from the captured image and words to sound conversion is as high as 85 %. It is to be mentioned that accuracy is calculated as percentage of correct words to total words in an image.

TL;DR: This paper modify DH key exchange protocol to fit it into mobile WiMAX network as well as eliminate existing weakness in original DH key Exchange protocol.
Abstract: As a promising broadband wireless technology, WiMAX has many salient advantages over such as: high data rates, quality of service, scalability, security and mobility. Many sophisticated authentication and encryption techniques have been embedded into WiMAX but it still facing a lot of challenging situations. This paper shows different security vulnerabilities found in IEEE 802.16e and gives possible solutions to eliminate them. These vulnerabilities are the possibilities to forge key messages in Multi- and Broadcast operation, some unauthenticated messages which are susceptible to forgery and the unencrypted management communication which reveals important management information. We modify DH key exchange protocol to fit it into mobile WiMAX network as well as eliminate existing weakness in original DH key exchange protocol.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a 5MW grid-connected solar power plant at airport sites by utilizing the substantial barren area of the airport to generate electricity from clean energy sources like solar, wind, and others.
Abstract: Nowadays, the aviation industry is one of the significant contributors to greenhouse gas emissions. An optimum solution to this concern is the substitution of conventional electricity consumption with clean energy sources. Barren lands are available in airport sites as buffer zones. These lands can be utilized to generate electricity from clean energy sources like solar, wind, and others. This study proposed a 5 MW grid-connected solar power plant at airport sites by utilizing the substantial barren area of the airport. The targeted airports for this study are Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka, and Shah Amanat International Airport, Chittagong, Bangladesh. Mathematical and simulation analyses have been performed for this purpose. Besides, sustainability analysis has also been incorporated for the grid-connected solar power plant. The energy efficiency varies from 18.74 to 7.79% for the Shah Amanat International Airport, and for the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, it ranges from 17.71 to 7.45%. Based on the project outcome, the revenue earned was 25% higher if the total cost was invested in power plants rather than keeping it in the bank as a deposit. On the other hand, emission analysis presented that a gross reduction of 3827.5 tons of CO2/MWh can be achieved from the Shah Amanat International Airport, while 3926 tons of CO2/MWh can be removed from the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Based on the sustainability analysis, the energy depletion ratio for Shahjalal Airport varies from 0.82 to 0.93, while for Shah Amanat Airport, it is in the range of 0.81 and 0.92. The findings of this study suggested that investment in grid-connected solar power plants is economically viable and environmentally benign.

TL;DR: This research illustrates the use of android smartphone and Android applications to process and visualize the ECG signal, heart rate, and temperature and the prototype can be utilized to control heart diseases for the people in the underdeveloped area.
Abstract: Cardiovascular disease (CVD) patients need continuous monitoring of bio-signals and regular hospital visit to improve health conditions. A portable health monitoring device can provide continuous monitoring of chronic diseases. In this paper, a low-cost health monitoring system is introduced to observe Electrocardiogram (ECG), body temperature and heart-beat. This research illustrates the use of android smartphone and Android applications to process and visualize the ECG signal, heart rate, and temperature. An android application is developed to monitor, store and share this biomedical signal data with an expert to get the fastest treatment. The system can also store the previous data to observe patient's history easily whenever necessary. The design strategy, experimental data with android apps, smartphone synchronization, real-time monitoring have been presented in this paper. The prototype can be utilized to control heart diseases for the people in the underdeveloped area.
