TL;DR: The formation of CdS 1-x Te x alloy at the window (CdS)/absorber interface during CdTe thin films is very crucial for enhancing solar cell performance as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: The formation of CdS 1-x Te x alloy at the window (CdS)/absorber (CdTe) interface during the synthesis of CdTe thin films is very crucial for enhancing solar cell performance. This work reported the properties of CdTe thin films which were grown onto CdS and CdS:O/CdS bilayer separately by using close-spaced sublimation (CSS). All the as-grown samples were characterized by XRD, FE-SEM, and UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy, respectively. The XRD result showed that the interdiffusion was prompt for CdTe films deposited onto the CdS layer at source temperature 630 °C. In case of CdS:O/CdS bilayer, the interdiffusion was less pronounced. The SEM images exhibited very compact surface with grains in the range 2.2 - 2.3 µm and columnar growth morphology of the deposited CdTe films. The optical bandgap of CdTe grown on both layers were found to be around 1.46 eV. Finally, the influence of CdS 1-x Te x intermixed layer on CdTe cells power conversion efficiency (PCE) was evaluated by the SCAPS-1D simulator. The incorporation of CdS 1-x Te x intermixed layer enhanced the PCE of the simulated cell to 22.64%.

TL;DR: The emphasis of this work is to present the structural operational semantics of several important aspects of packages in Java programming.
Abstract: A good understanding of programming language can be developed and understood in a machine independent manner called structural operational semantics. It is a mathematical model for specifying the meaning of a language by defining the effect of a running program in terms of its structure. The emphasis of this work is to present the structural operational semantics of several important aspects of packages in Java programming. With that we have showed how structural operational semantics is helpful for understanding the structure of packages.

TL;DR: A framework that can translate different local languages to original Bangla written language and vice versa is developed and found that the system can perform different translations up to a satisfactory level.
Abstract: Bangla is the sixth largest language and around one eighty five million people around the globe speak in Bangla. However, there is a strong difference in the style of speaking Bangla among the people of different regions. Although there were many efforts for translation of information between English and Bangla languages, according to our knowledge, so far there is no consideration about the computerization of local languages of Bangla. Considering this fact, in this paper we develop a framework that can translate different local languages to original Bangla written language and vice versa. In addition, our system can perform translations among different local languages of Bangla. We have implemented the system with a number of test cases and found that the system can perform different translations up to a satisfactory level. Index Terms—natural language processing; lexical analysis, data dictionaries.

TL;DR: A source code repository system is proposed that dynamically distributes an application to its smallest level components and stores their information and shows that the proposed repository outperforms the other related research works with providing more features in simpler way.
Abstract: Software reuse is a solution to reduce the costs of estimation, design, development, and testing. Reuse of source codes can release the coders from the time-killing botheration of doing the same coding again and again for same kind of software projects. If the proposed distribution format (Application→ Module→Class→Function→Sub-function) is followed while storing source codes, then it is easier to fulfill the requests for any level of source codes. In this paper, a source code repository system is proposed that dynamically distributes an application to its smallest level components and stores their information. Besides, it provides an interface to browse and retrieve the desired source codes. During dynamic retrieval, the desired source codes are merged together by a bottom-up integration method. Implementation shows that the proposed repository outperforms the other related research works with providing more features in simpler way.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors identify the nature of the fire hazard by analyzing the frequency and intensity over time through different checklist and analyzing the existing firefighting capacity in Chattogram City Corporation (CCC).
Abstract: Fire, can have its origin either in natural or human activities resulting in death and/or property damage in a very short period of time. To develop fire hazard resilient cities proper attention should be given to all possible sections of development to facilitate the service. Chattogram city is the second largest city of Bangladesh. Due to rapid rate of urbanization and unplanned growth of urban centers; hazards like fire have become a menace for Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) area. So, the main objective of this research is to identify the nature of the fire hazard by analyzing the frequency and intensity over time through different checklist and analyzing the existing firefighting capacity. In addition to past fire incident records, direct questionnaire survey and expert opinion; have been done for primary data collection. Using GIS techniques, this study has found that 9 fire stations in CCC exhibit different frequency and intensity in different categories such as type of structure, land use, source of fire, damage and losses in last 5 years. The number of fire incidents increased from 200 to 675 which indicate that the frequency increased over time. Among 2514 fire accidents 47% occurred in residential areas and 27% occurred in commercial areas. Fire intensity also varies with seasonal variation over a year. Within last 5 years Chattogram City Corporation dealt with 17,90,91,200 BDT financial loss, 83 people got injured and 15 due to fire accidents. One the other hand, only 9 fire stations serve around 155 sq.km area and approximately 6 million people in CCC which 17 and 19 times larger than that of Bangkok and Oklahoma City. Finally, this data-driven approach and findings could help the emergency planners to take necessary steps for improving fire-fighting capability to ensure better fire safety and resiliency.
