Abstract: In this paper, we proposed a correlation based method which is a new approach using the autocorrelation function is weighted by the reciprocal of the YIN and very useful for accurate fundamental frequency extraction. The autocorrelation function and also YIN is a popular measurement in estimating fundamental frequency in time domain. In our proposed method, instead of the original signal, we employ its center clipping signal for obtaining the autocorrelation function and this function is weighted by the reciprocal of the YIN for fundamental frequency detection. Comparative results on female and male voices in white and exhibition noise shows that the proposed method can detect fundamental frequency with better accuracy in terms of gross pitch errors as compared to other related methods.

TL;DR: An autonomous wheelchair is designed and implemented that eradicates the constant presence of attendee and provides the provision to select any one of the control systems based on the disability of the patient.
Abstract: There are millions of disabled people in the world being unable to perform regular activities due to the incompetence of their movability. Many of them lie on the floor and many more die due to different obscurities that could have been foreclosed. Mobility can be achieved by the use of conventional wheelchairs but they can't provide complete mobility since they require the constant presence of attendee. They can play an important role in society if they can get mobile by themselves. It can be achieved through the use of autonomous wheelchairs. In this paper, such an autonomous wheelchair is designed and implemented that eradicates the constant presence of attendee. Four control systems are installed at the wheelchair as gesture control system, voice control system, eye control system and joystick control system that provide the provision to select any one of the control systems based on the disability of the patient.

TL;DR: In this article, a novel wideband compact and low-profile metamaterial-based antenna has been proposed, where the introduction of metasurface layer between the patch and ground plane improves antenna's performance considerably.
Abstract: In this work, a novel wideband compact and low-profile metamaterial-based antenna has been proposed. The introduction of metasurface layer between the patch and ground plane improves antenna’s performance, considerably. Our proposed circularly polarized (CP) antenna has been realized by two pairs of radiators. The CP characteristics have been obtained by placing two radiators in X-polarized wave and two in Y-polarized wave. Each radiator is carefully designed with epsilon negative transmission line (ENG-TL) to generate zeroth-order resonance (ZOR). Our proposed antenna achieves a gain of 4.94 dBic, which is almost 0.58 dBic higher than the structure without metasurface. Also, the operating bandwidth and the simulated axial ratio bandwidth (ARBW) of our proposed antenna improve to 698.6 MHz and 450.3 MHz.

TL;DR: In this paper, an empirical framework for automatic labeling of timeseries data that can be further used in training phrases during semi-supervised learning was proposed for driving time series data labeling.
Abstract: Most of the driving maneuver classification methods follow supervised learning techniques and utilize ground truth in order to train classifiers However, collecting ground truth is the most troublesome, expensive, and significant task of classification and effects a classifier's performance The work proposes an empirical framework for automatic labeling of timeseries data that can be further used in training phrases during semi-supervised learning The proposed algorithm generates class labels and find that generated label of 4895 data matched with 11077 manual labeled data The work analyzes the challenges involved in the driving time series data labeling So, reasons behind mismatch of data label can also be explained

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of various dimensionless parameters on boundary layer flow is analyzed using Runge-Kutta method along with shooting technique, and the results indicate that the velocity profiles increases with increasing values of pressure gradient parameter β for different situation and also for magnetic parameter M and for stretching parameter λ.
Abstract: The effect of various dimensionless parameters on boundary layer flow are analysed The MHD nanofluid flow along a moving stretching wedge surface are considered The governing partial differential equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations by using the similarity transformation These ordinary differential equations are numerically solved using fourth order Runge-Kutta method along with shooting technique The results indicate that the velocity profiles increases with increasing values of pressure gradient parameter β for different situation and also for magnetic parameter M and for stretching parameter λ The temperature profiles decreases for velocity ratio parameter λ, Brownian motion parameter Nb and Prandtl number Pr but opposite result arises for increasing values of thermoporesis parameter Nt The concentration decreases with an increase in pressure gradient parameter β, velocity ratio parameter λ, Brownian motion parameter and Lewis number Le, but increases for thermophoresis parameter Finally, for validity and accuracy the present results are compared with previously published work
