TL;DR: This paper reviewed the different offloading techniques that are implemented in various applications and achieved the better performance results compared to existing approaches implemented in disaster management.
Abstract: In recent years, WiFi offloading provides a potential solution for improving ad hoc network performance along with cellular network. This paper reviews the different offloading techniques that are implemented in various applications. In disaster management applications, the cellular network is not optimal for existing case studies because the lack of infrastructure. MANET Wi-Fi offloading (MWO) is one of the potential solutions for offloading cellular traffic. This word combines the cellular network with mobile ad hoc network by implementing the technique of Wi-Fi offloading. Based on the applications requirements the offloading techniques implemented into mobile-to-mobile (M-M), mobile-to-cellular (M-C), mobile-to-AP (M-AP). It serves more reliability, congestion eliminated, increasing data rate, and high network performance. The authors also identified the issue while implementing the offloading techniques in network. Finally, this paper achieved the better performance results compared to existing approaches implemented in disaster management.

TL;DR: In this paper, a review of the recent advances in molecular imprinting and the potential of nanomaterials in electrochemical sensors is presented. But, the authors do not discuss the use of nano-materials in sensor networks.
Abstract: Nanotechnology and molecular imprinting both are omnipresent in the modern scientific world. Molecular recognition in the biological systems was mimicked to an extreme extent with its difficulties through molecular imprinting. Solving the problems related to this mimicking was the goal of science and technology. Some challenges like difficulties with the imprinting of protein, poor compatibility with aqueous environments, template leakage, and heterogeneous populations of binding sites in the polymers that contribute to a high level of nonspecific binding sites were addressed with recent advancement in the modern era. These issues were solved later with nano level instrumentations and inventions. Different types of nanomaterials were employed for this research on molecular recognition through MIPs to enhance selectivity, sensitivity and stability to specific systems such as sensors. This review paper attempts to give all the recent advances in molecular imprinting and the potential of nanomaterials in electrochemical sensors.

TL;DR: The approach for analyzing the sentiments of the users about a particular crime event tweets posted by the active users is explained and the results will let you know about the change in the public opinion about the crime events whether it’s positive or negative and to find out emotions on different types of crimes.
Abstract: Online social media like a twitter play a vital role as it helps to track the Spatial-temporal on social media data with respect crime rate. With the very fast evolving of users in social media, sentimental analysis has become an excellent source of information in decision making. Twitter is one of the most popular social networking site for communication and a primary source of information. More than 150 million users publish above 500 million 140 character TWEETS each day. Tweets have become a basis for product recommendation using sentimental analysis. This paper explains the approach for analyzing the sentiments of the users about a particular crime event tweets posted by the active users. The results so obtained will let you know about the change in the public opinion about the crime events whether it’s positive or negative and to find out emotions on different types of crimes.

TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of graphene quantum dots (GQDs) from expended sugarcane bagasse via surface functionalization and subsequent production of GQD/SnO2 nanocomposites via a facile hydrothermal route is demonstrated for the first time.
Abstract: Highly resilient antibacterial strains are a major cause of concern in the modern sewage treatment and sanitation industry. Hence, development of efficient, low-cost disinfectant agents is essential. In this study, synthesis of graphene quantum dots (GQDs) from expended sugarcane bagasse via surface functionalization and the subsequent production of GQD/SnO2 nanocomposites via a facile hydrothermal route is demonstrated for the first time. The synthesized nanostructures are found to be studded with various oxygen moieties and exhibit an excitation independent fluorescence behaviour implying the existence of quantum confinement effects. Nanoparticles obtained after the hydrothermal treatment are found to possess spherical morphology with an average particle size of 4.5 nm. Antibacterial activity of the synthesized product is tested against Pseudomonas aeruginosa using the disc diffusion assay and minimum inhibitory concentration assay. A marked rise in the antibacterial performance is seen in the nanocomposite compared to its carbonized and GQD counterparts. This can be attributed to the presence of surface defects and smaller uniform sized particles. These cost-effective nanostructures are photo stable for extended periods of storage and may find excellent utility in the sanitation and disinfectant industry.

TL;DR: In this article, the traces of possible volatility bubble emerge when it is positioned against its own lags (both lag 1 and lag 2) and the volatility trigger indicated clear traces of herding and an embedded parabola function.
Abstract: This study delves into the herding and bubble detection in the volatility domain of a capital market underlying. Furthermore, it focuses on creating heuristics, so that common investors find it relatively easy to understand the state of the market volatility. Hence, it can be termed that this study is focused on the specific financial innovation regarding bubble and herding detection coupled with investor awareness. The traces of possible volatility bubble emerge when it is positioned against its own lags (both lag1 and lag2). The volatility trigger indicated clear traces of herding and an embedded parabola function. Continuous and repetitive parabola function hinted at a subtle presence of “fractals”. Firstly, the detrended fluctuation analysis has been used with its multifractal variant. Secondly, the regularized form of Hurst calculation and analysis have been used. Both tests reveal the traces of nascent bubble formation owing to prominent herding in CNX Nifty HFT environment. They also indicate a clear link with Hausdorff topological patterns. These patterns would help to create heuristics, enabling investors to be aware of possible bubble and herd situations.
