TL;DR: A survey on different computing paradigms like evergreen computing is cloud computing, grid computing, for multi task handing is parallel computing, to handle smart phone data's that is mobile computing, cluster computing, and distributed computing is carried out.
Abstract: Computing paradigms are introduced for solving complex problems by analyzing, designing and implementing by complex systems. Computing can be defined as the effective use of computer or computer technology to solve tasks that are goal oriented. Computing is used in development of producing scientific studies, building intelligent systems, channeling different media for communication. Over the last few years, internet became so popular which lead to the increase in computer processing capacity, data storage and communication with one another. Computing has evolved from one technology to another in its field and formed a robust framework over the years. In this paper a survey on different computing paradigms like evergreen computing is cloud computing, to deal with basic scheduling is grid computing, for multi task handing is parallel computing, to handle smart phone data’s that is mobile computing, cluster computing, and distributed computing is carried out. These technologies improved the way computing functions and made it easier to the computer world. The applications and research issues of the most of the computing paradigms are discussed in this article. The recent research issues in computing platform are scheduling and security. The scheduling is dealing with data processing from one computing platform to other computing device. Security is one of the important research issues.

TL;DR: Sunova spirulina powder was used to evaluate its inhibition efficiency towards mild steel in 1-M HCl medium as mentioned in this paper, and the results obtained were further validated by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometric (ICP-OES) measurements and electrochemical techniques including Tafel polarisation, linear polarisation and AC impedance studies.
Abstract: Spirulina, blue green algae is a rich source of proteins and vitamins with excellent antioxidant properties. Sunova spirulina powder an effective, green corrosion inhibitor was used to evaluate its inhibition efficiency towards mild steel in 1 M HCl medium. Weight loss studies of mild steel showed an inhibition efficiency of 96% for 600 ppm concentration of inhibitor solution and 12 h of immersion period at 303 K. The percentage of inhibition efficiency increased with a step up of 10 K raise in temperature from 303 to 333 K and thereafter decreased. The results obtained were further validated by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometric (ICP-OES) measurements and electrochemical techniques that included Tafel polarisation, linear polarisation and AC impedance studies. Potentiodynamic polarisation study marked the inhibitor to be a mixed type inhibiting both cathodic and anodic reactions. The adsorption studies proved that the adsorption process was spontaneous and followed Langmuir adsorption isotherm. The thermodynamic activation and adsorption parameters calculated showed that the mechanism of inhibition involved a physisorption process initially and then it slightly shifted towards chemisorption process at higher temperature. The protective layer formed on the metal surface was studied using FTIR and SEM. The complex formation between the Fe2+ and the active constituents of the spirulina extract was verified using UV visible spectra and fluorescence spectra. The effect of inhibitor concentration and temperature on corrosion rate was tested statistically using two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) technique.

TL;DR: In this paper, an attempt had been made to assure the Flyash usage in the grounding pit and this paper discusses the Characterization, Comparison and Field Studies on Earthing Pit constructed with Bentonite and Fly ash layers.
Abstract: Earthing or Grounding is an Electrical system consists of electrodes which serves as an electrical connection from an electric circuit in the system to the earth or ground. Traditional Earthing- where we mix charcoal and salt offers low resistance to the fault current flow developed from a Low operating Voltages. Since operating voltages are high now a days, Short circuit current also increased. Traditional method of Earthing is replaced by chemical Earthing .Bentonite which is mainly used in chemical Earthing serves the requirement of Low resistance Earthing pits and also have the property to retain the moisture. In this paper an attempt had been made to assure the Flyash usage in the grounding pit and this paper discusses the Characterization, Comparison and Field Studies on Earthing Pit constructed with Bentonite and Fly ash layers.

TL;DR: A system that involves character recognition of Brahmi, Grantha and Vattezuthu characters from palm manuscripts of historical Tamil ancient documents is developed, analyzed the text and machine translated the present Tamil digital text format.
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to develop a system that involves character recognition of Brahmi, Grantha and Vattezuthu characters from palm manuscripts of historical Tamil ancient documents, analyzed the text and machine translated the present Tamil digital text format. Though many researchers have implemented various algorithms and techniques for character recognition in different languages, ancient characters conversion still poses a big challenge. Because image recognition technology has reached near-perfection when it comes to scanning English and other language text. But optical character recognition (OCR) software capable of digitizing printed Tamil text with high levels of accuracy is still elusive. Only a few people are familiar with the ancient characters and make attempts to convert them into written documents manually. The proposed system overcomes such a situation by converting all the ancient historical documents from inscriptions and palm manuscripts into Tamil digital text format. It converts the digital text format using Tamil unicode. Our algorithm comprises different stages: i) image preprocessing, ii) feature extraction, iii) character recognition and iv) digital text conversion. The first phase conversion accuracy of the Brahmi script rate of our algorithm is 91.57% using the neural network and image zoning method. The second phase of the Vattezhuthu character set is to be implemented. Conversion accuracy of Vattezhuthu is 89.75%.
