TL;DR: In this article, the Ginzburg-Landau equation is derived to study heat and mass transports of different combinations of salts in water and a table is prepared documenting the actual values of thermophysical properties of water with different salts and the critical Rayleigh number is calculated.
Abstract: Triple diffusive convection in water is modelled with properties like density, specific heat, thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity and thermal expansion, modified in the presence of salts. The Ginzburg–Landau equation is derived to study heat and mass transports of different combinations of salts in water. A table is prepared documenting the actual values of thermophysical properties of water with different salts and the critical Rayleigh number is calculated. This information is used in the estimation of Nusselt and Sherwood numbers and their relative magnitudes are commented upon. A detailed study on different single, double and triple diffusive systems is done and comparison is made of the results. The local nonlinear stability analysis made via a Ginzburg–Landau model mimics many properties of the original governing equations, namely, Hamiltonian character and a bounded solution.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors empirically tested how absorptive capacity mediates the institutional forces and the perceived innovation characteristics towards the ERP adoption in an industrial cluster, and the results show that absorptive capacities complemented the forces of institutional pressure and the perception of innovation characteristics on ERP adoptions.
Abstract: An industrial cluster, due to its close network of institutions, will experience various pressures that force the industry to have a homogeneous structure, norms, and practices. These pressures can also lead to adoption of innovative technologies. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is perceived as a sophisticated technology and diffuses across the cluster by its innovative characteristics. However, firms in the industrial cluster will have different rate of adoption of technologies due to the varying level of knowledge spillover and a heterogeneous absorptive capacity. This study empirically tests how absorptive capacity mediates the institutional forces and the perceived innovation characteristics towards the ERP adoption in an industrial cluster. Mediation effect and the model validity are tested using SEM technique. The results show that absorptive capacity complements the forces of institutional pressure and the perceived innovation characteristics on ERP adoption. The implications of managing the absorptive capacity for better ERP adoption are discussed.

TL;DR: The benefits of rainwater harvesting such as: provision of an economical water conservation measure, reduction of the burden on other sources of water, provision for agriculture when there is no rainfall, alternative and cleaner source of drinking water, prevention of top soil erosion, reducing of the possibility of floods, improved plant growth, greater responsiveness of water provision, and connection of water supply to natural water cycle are highlighted in this article.
Abstract: The objective of this article is to provide awareness into the process of rainwater harvesting so as to make people proactive in conserving fast depleting water resources through this technique, which has been used in India from time immemorial, but is now forgotten behind the insignia of modernisation. The article highlights the benefits of rainwater harvesting such as: provision of an economical water conservation measure, reduction of the burden on other sources of water, provision for agriculture when there is no rainfall, alternative and cleaner source of drinking water, prevention of top soil erosion, reduction of the possibility of floods, improved plant growth, greater responsiveness of water provision, and connection of water supply to natural water cycle. It also gives information regarding the rainwater harvesting practices in some countries abroad for further comparison and research into those practices by those who feel interested. Details of different techniques of rainwater harvesting are furnished so as to inculcate interest in the process. Calculation of rainwater harvesting potential is also discussed for estimating the possible benefits. How far India has moved in this direction is briefed for those who would want to bring about changes connected to their micro set up or policy making at macro level. The article is an endeavour to give a factual picture of rainwater harvesting in India, with the hope that it would inspire more popular implementation of this futuristic source of water conservation.

TL;DR: In this article, a scoping review aimed to systematically review and map the strength-based positive schooling interventions that have been conducted thus far on adolescent students, and identified 13 such studies, and examined the program design, outcomes, and theoretical underpinnings.
Abstract: Positive schooling is the positive psychological movement that calls for the incorporation of student well-being as a focus of the learning environment. A strength-based approach to positive schooling employs character strengths as a pathway to positive change and well-being. The scoping review aimed to systematically review and map the strength-based positive schooling interventions that have been conducted thus far on adolescent students. It has been performed using the five-stage theoretical framework proposed by Arksey and O’Malley. The present scoping review has identified 13 such studies, and examined the program design, outcomes, and theoretical underpinnings. Despite mixed intervention results, this paper highlights that strength-based positive schooling interventions produce promising positive outcomes in student well-being and positive emotions. The study also identified a need for evidence of the long-term effectiveness of these interventions, whole-school approaches, and theory building in positive schooling and education.
