TL;DR: In this paper, a novel approach for the spiro-isoindolinone dihydroquinazolinones was demonstrated from 2-aminobenzamide and 2-cyanomethyl benzoate in the presence of KHMDS as a base to get moderate yields.
Abstract: A novel approach for the spiro-isoindolinone dihydroquinazolinones has been demonstrated from 2-aminobenzamide and 2-cyanomethyl benzoate in the presence of KHMDS as a base to get moderate yields. The reaction has been screened in various bases followed by solvents and a gram scale reaction has also been executed under the given conditions. Based on the controlled experiments a plausible reaction mechanism has been proposed. Further the substrate scope of this reaction has also been studied.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explored the relationship between religious fundamentalism, right wing authoritananism (RWA) and homophobia among Hindus and found that both RWA and RF are good predictors of homophobia, however RWA is a better predictor that RF (beta. 307) and RWA (Beta. 400).
Abstract: The present study aims to empirically explore the relationship between Religious fundamentalism(RF), Right wing authoritananism (RWA) and Homophobia among Hindus. It is an attempt to understand the association between religious beliefs, adherence to authority figures and attitudes towards homosexuals in India. Since, homosexuality is illegal in India and intolerance towards homosexual is on the rise, it seems imperative to study the associations of homophobia in India (DNA, 2013). For the purpose of the study a sample of 89 Individuals (Belonging to Hindu religion) between the ages of 18-30 years were taken. The obtained data was analyzed using correlation and regression to test the hypotheses. It was found that Religious fundamentalism, Right wing authoritarianism and Homophobia are positively and significantly correlated to each other,(r=.710**,r = .310**,r=. 400**). Both RWA and RF are good predictors of homophobia, however RWA is a better predictor that RF (beta. 307) and RWA (beta. 400). It has also been found that there is no significant difference m homophobia among males and females. The study suggests that RF, RWA and homophobia are positively associated with each other among Hindus. The results of this study can help better understand the current scenario of homophobia and its underpinnings in India.

TL;DR: A survey of the developments in the study on the intersection graphs of ideals of rings since its introduction in 2009 is given in this paper, where a simple graph denoted by G(R) whose vertices are in a one-to-one correspondence with a ring R is considered.
Abstract: Let L(R) denote the set of all non-trivial left ideals of a ring R. The intersection graph of ideals of a ring R is an undirected simple graph denoted by G(R) whose vertices are in a one-to-one correspondence with L(R) and two distinct vertices are joined by an edge if and only if the corresponding left ideals of R have a non-zero intersection. The ideal structure of a ring reflects many ring theoretical properties. Thus much research has been conducted last few years to explore the properties of G(R). This is a survey of the developments in the study on the intersection graphs of ideals of rings since its introduction in 2009.

TL;DR: This study aims the quantification of various performance parameters like power output, losses in the system, system efficiency and the total energy transfer of an on-grid and off-grid solar PV system.
Abstract: Day by day the demand for electrical energy is increasing. We can't rely on conventional energy sources for meeting this increasing demand as they are depleting. So it is necessary to find an alternative method to harness the energy that we are lacking. Solar energy generation seems to be a promising technology for this dilemma. It is environmental friendly and infinite source of energy. Photovoltaic systems can be broadly classified into two-an on-grid system or an off-grid system. The energy generated from a solar PV system is based on several factors like irradiance, types of solar PV used and temperature. Analyzing the existing system efficiency is of prime importance for the characterization of the problems and for the improvements. This study deals with the performance analysis of an on-grid and off-grid system. The analysis is carried out by modeling an existing system in MATLAB/SIMULINK which is already in operation. It can be extended to analyze the grid stability. This study aims the quantification of various performance parameters like power output, losses in the system, system efficiency and the total energy transfer.
