TL;DR: In this article, the authors used TEM images to study the dispersions of HNTs in the matrix phase owing to varying pre-treatment conditions and found that the properties of the nanocomposite depend on the quantity of functional filler present and temperature of heat treatment.

TL;DR: A plankton sample from Lake Devikulam, a temperate, high-altitude lake in the Western Ghat range, Kerala state, Southern India contained 24 rotifer species.
Abstract: A plankton sample from Lake Devikulam, a temperate, high-altitude lake in the Western Ghat range, Kerala state, Southern India contained 24 rotifer species. Its interest lies in the fact that, beside widespread eurythermic, warm-water and one Paleotropical species, one or two new, possibly endemic species were found. The geographic and climatologic isolation of the temperate habitats of the Western Ghats may account for this peculiar taxocoenosis. Polyarthra indica sp. n. is described. The trophi morphology of three Polyarthra species is documented using scanning electron microscopy and its relevance to the taxonomy of Polyarthra discussed.

TL;DR: In this article, a numerical investigation of three-dimensional flow of an electrically conducting nanofluid over a bidirectional stretching surface is proposed, where water and copper nanoparticles are used to form nanoliquid.
Abstract: Numerical investigation of three-dimensional flow of an electrically conducting nanofluid over a bidirectional stretching surface is proposed here. The slip flow over a convectively stretching sheet is considered. The flow is caused due to a non-linear stretching surface and Lorenz force. Water and copper nanoparticles are used to form nanoliquid. Suitable transformations are employed to reduce the conservation equations into nonlinear coupled, multidegree ordinary differential equations. Resultant nonlinear two-point boundary value problem is numerically integrated using Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg fourth-fifth order method. Computed results are verified with existing results under limiting cases. The influences of pertinent parameters on different flow fields are evaluated and presented via graphical and tabular form. It is found that the thermal radiation and convective heating at boundary stabilizes the thermal boundary layer growth.

TL;DR: In this article, the heat transfer rate and skin friction coefficient of a nonlinear convective flow of Cu−Al2O3−H2O hybrid nanofluid with polar particle suspension is analyzed.
Abstract: The statistical and exact analysis of heat transfer rate and skin friction coefficient of a nonlinear convective flow of Cu − Al2O3 − H2O hybrid nanofluid with polar particle suspension is performed. The heat transport phenomenon includes radiative heat effect. A micropolar fluid model is accounted. Exact solutions to the governing problem are found via Laplace transform method (LTM). The heat transfer rate and skin friction are analysed critically via statistical methods like probable error and regression models. The slope of linear regression of data points for skin friction and Nusselt number is estimated to quantify the increase/decrease. The Nusselt number and thermophysical properties for twenty-four different hybrid nanofluids are presented. A novel idea of a nonlinear convective flow of Cu − Al2O3 − H2O hybrid nanofluid with polar particle suspension is investigated for the first time. Opposite behaviour of velocity and microrotation profile are established when the physical parameters are varied.
