TL;DR: The emerging IoT in terms of the potential Energy Efficiency Reliability issues is explored and remedies and techniques which are helpful in propelling the development and deployment of IoT applications are suggested.
Abstract: Internet of Things (IoT) is innovation in the field of Communication where a number of intelligent devices are involved sharing information and making collaborative decision. IOT is going to be a market-changing force for a wide variety of real-time monitoring applications, such as E-healthcare, homes automation system, environmental monitoring and industrial automation as it is supporting to a large number of characteristics and achieving better cost efficiency. This article explores the emerging IoT in terms of the potential Energy Efficiency Reliability (EER) issues. This paper discusses the potential EER barriers with examples and suggests remedies and techniques which are helpful in propelling the development and deployment of IoT applications.

TL;DR: Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP communication protocol are used for communication and control of batch process from remote controllers.
Abstract: Batch process is widely applied in pharmaceutical, paint, food and beverage industries etc In Batch process specific amount of input feed is passing through desired set of equipment for a specified amount of time to get a definite amount of valuable output product In batch process, temperature of batch reactor is very important parameter This temperature loop is mostly controlled through PID controller, but for precise control and plant optimization of batch process are performed by some advanced control strategies like fuzzy, MPC (Model Predictive Control), neural etc In industries these advanced control schemes implemented through DCS (Distributed Control System), PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller) For communication with dif- ferent make controllers user can use various communication protocol such as Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet etc In this experiment Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP communication protocol are used for communication and control of batch process from remote controllers

TL;DR: A design and development of low cost and reliable Internet of things framework which consists of an array of RFID sensors for the real time tracking of the vehicle on its transit from one point to other point of the high speed expressway.
Abstract: In order to have safe vehicular traffic across the expressway a real-time monitoring has become a vital need for the today's intelligent traffic monitoring systems(ITS). In this paper we present a design and development of low cost and reliable Internet of things framework which consists of an array of RFID sensors for the real time tracking of the vehicle on its transit from one point to other point of the high speed expressway. The uniquely detecting capability of vehicle using RFID sensor network makes it a better choice compared to the image processing based systems. In this project a real-time stamps are taken from the array of RFID sensor network and the velocity of the vehicle is approximated in the real-time environment using Euler's algorithms. Here an Arduino platform with an Ethernet connection can be used as a core controller and the resultant data can be viewed on the internet using cloud computing.
