TL;DR: A set of polyaniline-graphene oxide (PANI-GO) nanocomposites which exhibit superior properties in terms of shelf life, processability and conductivity due to the synergistic effect of GO and PANI, have been synthesized by varying the concentration of highly nonconducting GO with respect to aniline as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: In the present work, a set of polyaniline–graphene oxide (PANI–GO) nanocomposites which exhibit superior properties in terms of shelf life, processability and conductivity due to the synergistic effect of GO and PANI, have been synthesized by varying the concentration of highly non-conducting GO with respect to aniline. The obtained materials were characterized by UV–Vis, FTIR, XRD, Raman, TGA as well as FESEM, TEM analysis. The results reveal that nanocomposites show better dispersibility, crystallinity, thermal stability, and conductivity. Further, the synthesized composites have been tested for their anti-corrosion properties. The potentiodynamic results reveal that PANI nanocomposites with 1% GO exhibited long-term anti-corrosion behavior with a corrosion rate of 6.5 × 10−5 mm year−1, which is much lower than its individual components and commercial-grade red oxide. Also, it possesses highest impedance modulus ~33 kΩ cm2 and real impedance ~32 kΩ cm2, maximum coating resistance ~14.81 × 103 Ω cm2 and minimum coating capacitance after 96 h of immersion in 3.5% mass NaCl than those exhibited by all other coated samples. Higher concentration of GO could not retard the corrosion rate confirming that hydrophilicity of GO play an important role in the redox mechanism of PANI.

TL;DR: In this article, the heat transfer enhancement characteristics of air flow inside a circular tube with a partially decaying and partly swirl flow were investigated using three different twist parameters (, 0.27, and 0.38).
Abstract: CFD investigation was carried out to study the heat transfer enhancement characteristics of air flow inside a circular tube with a partially decaying and partly swirl flow. Four combinations of tube with twisted-tape inserts, the half-length upstream twisted-tape condition (HLUTT), the half-length downstream twisted-tape condition (HLDTT), the full-length twisted tape (FLTT), and the plain tube (PT) with three different twist parameters (, 0.27, and 0.38) have been investigated. 3D numerical simulation was performed for an analysis of heat transfer enhancement and fluid flow for turbulent regime. The results of CFD investigations of heat transfer and friction characteristics are presented for the FLTT, HLUTT, and the HLDTT in comparison with the PT case.

TL;DR: This paper presents a combinational logic based Rijndael S-box implementation for the SubByte transformation on ASIC that results in low cost, small area occupancy and high throughput as compared to the typical ROM based lookup table implementation with fixed and unbreakable access time.
Abstract: This paper presents a combinational logic based Rijndael S-box implementation for the SubByte transformation on ASIC. Combinational implementation of S-box results in low cost, small area occupancy and high throughput as compared to the typical ROM based lookup table implementation with fixed and unbreakable access time. S-box has been implemented using 0.18µm CMOS standard cell library at 1.62V and runs at clock frequency of 71.43MHz. We could achieve throughput of 571.5Mbps with core utilization of 85%, core area occupied is 39.88.4µm2 using only 178 cells. Total power dissipation of the S-box implementation is 0.611mW which is quite lower than other literature available.

TL;DR: In this paper, an edge detection algorithm was used to estimate the shape and size of tomato and color detecting algorithm is used for the ripeness determination, all these algorithms are implemented on Raspberry Pi development board which will become independent and cost effective system.
Abstract: Fruits and vegetables market is subject of choice. Thus, it is important for the suppliers to label the quality of goods before dealing out. Some commercially available fruit sorting and grading system have been introduced, but they are almost expensive for small and medium fruit processing industry. Presently, human experts grade the agriculture goods based on its vision based features that cause the inaccuracy, inconsistency and inefficiency on defining the quality of agriculture goods. In this paper, we are inspecting the quality of tomato based on shape, size and degree of ripeness. An edge detection algorithm is used to estimate the shape and size of tomato and color detecting algorithm is used for the ripeness determination. All these algorithms are implemented on Raspberry Pi development board which will become independent and cost effective system. Our system includes Raspberry Pi development board, conveyor belt, motors, Pi camera. All the interfacing of the above devices will be carried out and will make a cost effective embedded system for the determination of shape, size and degree of ripeness of tomato. Same system can be utilized for other fruits and vegetables also.
