TL;DR: In this paper, the exact solutions for the velocity field related to the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) and rotating flow of a second grade fluid in a porous medium induced by accelerated flows over an oscillating plate are determined by using the Fourier sine and Laplace transforms.
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to determine the exact solutions for the velocity field related to the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) and rotating flow of a second grade fluid in a porous medium induced by accelerated flows over an oscillating plate. This is accomplished by using the Fourier sine and Laplace transforms. Two explicit flow situations of the fluid are considered. In each case, both sine and cosine oscillations of the plate are incorporated. Finally, some graphical results of the fluid’s velocity profiles are presented correspondingly for different values of the emerging parameters. The physical interpretations for these parameters are discussed with the help of these graphical illustrations.

TL;DR: Under the optimized conditions, the proposed FPSE-GC-MS/MS method was validated in terms of linearity, repeatability, reproducibility, accuracy and precision and applied to real water samples, revealing the presence of 11 out of the 17 target fungicides.
Abstract: A rapid environmental pollution screening and monitoring workflow based on fabric phase sorptive extraction-gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (FPSE-GC-MS/MS) is proposed for the first time for the analysis of 17 widespread used fungicides (metalaxyl, cyprodinil, tolylfluanid, procymidone, folpet, fludioxonil, myclobutanil, kresoxim methyl, iprovalicarb, benalaxyl, trifloxystrobin, fenhexamid, tebuconazole, iprodione, pyraclostrobin, azoxystrobin and dimethomorph) in environmental waters. The most critical parameters affecting FPSE, such as sample volume, matrix pH, desorption solvent and time, and ionic strength were optimized by statistical design of experiment to obtain the highest extraction efficiency. Under the optimized conditions, the proposed FPSE-GC-MS/MS method was validated in terms of linearity, repeatability, reproducibility, accuracy and precision. To assess matrix effects, recovery studies were performed employing different water matrices including ultrapure, fountain, river, spring, and tap water at 4 different concentration levels (0.1, 0.5, 1 and 5 µg/L). Recoveries were quantitative with values ranging between 70-115%, and relative standard deviation values lower than 14%. Limits of quantification were at the low ng/L for all the target fungicides. Finally, the validated FPSE-GC-MS/MS method was applied to real water samples, revealing the presence of 11 out of the 17 target fungicides.

TL;DR: The Haralick texture features and Hu Invariants moments were proposed as the features extraction and the accuracy of the proposed features are 90% and 77.5% for two classes and multi class respectively.
Abstract: Classification of breast cancer is essential in determining the type of treatment that should be applied. Thus, a Computer Aided Diagnosis (CADx) may assist radiologists in making appropriate decision based on the classification results. In this paper, the classification is divided into two categories; to classify the cancer into benign and malignant (two classes) and to classify the character of the background tissue either fatty, glandular or dense (multi class). The Haralick texture features and Hu Invariants moments were proposed as the features extraction. There are three phases conducted in this study. The first phase is the pre-processing phase. This is followed by the features extraction phase where combination of moment based features with addition of four features was proposed. The final phase is the classification phase by using SVM classifiers. Results obtained shows that the accuracy of the proposed features are 90.5% and 77.5% for two classes and multi class respectively.
