TL;DR: In this paper, the spline and radial basis functions of base mesh free scheme are applied simultaneously to approximate the displacement and rotational functions of angle-ply composite plates, including shear deformation under clamped-clamped boundary conditions.
Abstract: In this study free vibrations of anti-symmetric angle-ply composite plates including shear deformation under clamped-clamped boundary conditions are presented. Two types of numerical methods are adopted to analyze the problem. The spline and radial basis functions base mesh free scheme are applied simultaneously to approximate the displacement and rotational functions. Comparative studies have been made for analyzing the frequency parameters with respect to the material properties, number of layers, fiber orientations, side-to-thickness ratio and aspect ratio. The results are depicted in terms of tables and graphs.

TL;DR: In this article, numerical methods for cyclic creep, in particular for thermocyclic creep are considered for a stable material state and periodically varying loading and temperature field, and the developed methodology enables straightforward evaluation of limiting cycle parameters without the calculation of intermediate transient cycles.
Abstract: Numerical methods are considered for cyclic creep, in particular, for thermocyclic creep. In case of a stable material state and periodically varying loading and temperature field, the developed methodology enables straightforward evaluation of limiting cycle parameters without the calculation of intermediate transient cycles. Interaction of plastic strain and creep and also a role of long-term exposure during cycle parts under high temperatures are described. Numerical examples indicate the possibility of considerable variation of stress and strain ranges induced by periodic external loads and thermal expansion in case of cyclic creep. This makes a drastic effect on the evaluation of the cyclic durability of a structure.

TL;DR: It is concluded that the uso of inoculantes a base of Lactobacillus buchneri puede reducir los recuentos de mohos y levaduras, y the inestabilidad aerobica of los ensilados de planta entera de maiz.
EnglishTwo experiments were carried out in two consecutive years (2005 and 2006) to compare the effect of harvest time (week 9, 11 and 13 after feminine fowering) and the use of commercial inoculants (L Fresh and P11A44, composed of on Lactobacillus buchneri, and LMS01 and P1188, composed of homofermentative lactic bacteria). The presence of Escherichia coli and Listeria monocytogenes was detected on 30 and 29 fresh maize samples, out of 30, and zero and two maize silage samples, out of 120, respectively. Silages made of maize harvested on week nine showed less percentage of N-NH3 on total N. The frst year, silages treated with L. buchneri showed higher pH, lower lactic acid content, higher acetic and propionic acid content, higher counts of total aerobic microorganisms but lower counts of yeasts and moulds, and higher aerobic stability than silages treated with homofermentative bacteria. In the second year, with lesser number of silages, signifcant differences between inoculants were detected just in total aerobic microorganisms counts.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the significant of photogrammetry datum constraints principle in TLS self-calibration using three variant network configurations: (1) minimum number of scan stations; (2) maximum number of surfaces for targets distribution; and (3) minimum numbers of point targets.
Abstract: Similar to other electronic instruments, terrestrial laser scanner (TLS) can also inherent with various systematic errors coming from different sources. Self-calibration technique is a method available to investigate these errors for TLS which were adopted from photogrammetry technique. According to the photogrammetry principle, the selection of datum constraints can cause different types of parameter correlations. However, the network configuration applied by TLS and photogrammetry calibrations are quite different, thus, this study has investigated the significant of photogrammetry datum constraints principle in TLS self-calibration. To ensure that the assessment is thorough, the datum constraints analyses were carried out using three variant network configurations: (1) minimum number of scan stations; (2) minimum number of surfaces for targets distribution; and (3) minimum number of point targets. Based on graphical and statistical, the analyses of datum constraints selection indicated that the parameter correlations obtained are significantly similar. In addition, the analysis has demonstrated that network configuration is a very crucial factor to reduce the correlation between the calculated parameters.
