TL;DR: Intermolecular interactions between a pair of parahexyl-p′-cyanobiphenyl (6CB) molecules have been evaluated using modified second order perturbation treatment along with multicentredmultipole expansion method as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: Intermolecular interactions between a pair of para-hexyl-p′-cyanobiphenyl (6CB) molecules have been evaluated using modified second order perturbation treatment along with multicentred-multipole expansion method. An ab initio method GAMESS with 6-31 G* basis set has been used for optimizing the molecular geometry and computing net charge and dipoles located at each atomic center of the 6CB molecule. Using the results of stacking, in-plane and terminal interaction energy studies, probability calculations at varied angles and positional configurations in a molecular pair of 6CB have been carried out employing Maxwell–Boltzmann formula. An attempt has been made to elucidate the nematogenic behaviour of the 6CB molecule.

TL;DR: The oil isolated by hydrodistillation from the leaves of Lippia alba growing in plain regions of North India, was analyzed by GC and GC/MS and myrcene was found as a major component followed by geranial and neral.
Abstract: The oil isolated by hydrodistillation from the leaves of Lippia alba growing in plain regions of North India, was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Fifty-nine components were identified accounting for approximately 98% of the total oil. Myrcene (26.4%) was found as a major component followed by geranial (9–8%), neral (6.4%), 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-ol (5.9%), β-caryophyllene (4.3%), junenol (4.2%), geraniol (3.9%), 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-one (3.3%), linalool (3.2%), etc.

TL;DR: In this paper, the magneto-transport and magnetization measurements of Sb1.90Cu0.10Te3 were performed by varying both temperature and the magnetic field.
Abstract: The magneto-transport and magnetization measurements of Sb1.90Cu0.10Te3 were performed by varying both temperature and the magnetic field. The induced antiferromagnetic ordering with Cu doping and the observed quantum oscillation in it indicate that magnetization in Sb1.90Cu0.10Te3 is the bulk property. The non-linearity in Hall data suggests the existence of anomalous and topological Hall effects. Moreover, the electronic band structure calculation supports the existence of Cu spin texture.
