TL;DR: A screening of 25 plant species showed that the leaves of Ageratum houstonianum exhibit absolute toxicity against Microsporum gypseum inhibiting the mycelial growth completely and the oil showed superiority over five prevalent antimycotic drugs viz. griseofulvin, jadit, multifungin, mycoderm and mycostatin.
Abstract: Summary: A screening of 25 plant species showed that the leaves of Ageratum houstonianum exhibit absolute toxicity against Microsporum gypseum inhibiting the mycelial growth completely. The essential oil isolated from the leaves showed mycostatic property at minimum inhibitory concentration of 100 ppm and became mycocidal at 300 ppm. The killing time of the oil against the test fungus was found to be one second. It showed broad mycotoxic spectrum inhibiting 30 out of 33 animal and human pathogenic fungi tested. The toxicity of the oil was not affected by temperature, autoclaving and storage. Further, the oil showed superiority over five prevalent antimycotic drugs viz. griseofulvin, jadit, multifungin, mycoderm and mycostatin.

TL;DR: In this paper, a number of samples of sodium and silver phosphate glasses doped with various compositions of some transition metals viz. iron, manganese and zinc chlorides along with undoped samples of the same glasses were synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction, IR spectral, electrical conductivity and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).
Abstract: A number of samples of sodium and silver phosphate glasses doped with various compositions of some transition metals viz. iron, manganese and zinc chlorides alongwith undoped samples of sodium and silver phosphate glasses were synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction, IR spectral, electrical conductivity and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The glass transition temperature (Tg) and crystallization temperature (Tc) values obtained from DSC curves were found to increase with increasing concentration of the dopant Fe/Mn/Zn chlorides in both sodium and silver phosphate glasses and the following sequence is observed:

TL;DR: These reactions involve the first examples of thermal [2+2] cycloaddition of benzyne to the S-S bond of an inorganic disulfide.
Abstract: The inorganic dithiolate, (μ-S)2Fe2(CO)6, reductively deiodinates trans-1,2-diiodo-1,2diphenylethene to afford diphenylacetylene in 79% yield. Reaction of (μ-S)2Fe2(CO)6 with 1,2diiodobenzene and 2,3-diiodotoluene results in the formation of the benzenedithiolate complex (μ-S2C6H4)Fe2(CO)6 and toluenedithiolate complex (μ-S2C6H4Me)Fe2(CO)6 in 42% and 48% isolated yields, respectively. These reactions appear to involve reductive deiodination of 1,2diiodobenzene and 2,3-diiodotoluene with (μ-S)2Fe2(CO)6 to the corresponding benzynes followed by trapping with the concomitantly formed disulfide (μ-S2)Fe2(CO)6, to give the observed complexes. As such, these reactions involve the first examples of thermal [2+2] cycloaddition of benzyne to the S-S bond of an inorganic disulfide. Although the reaction was not observed on treatment of other substituted 1,2-diiodobenzenes, 1,2,4,5-tetraiodobenzene was monodeiodinated to 1,2,4-triiodobenzene in 62% isolated yield.
